4760166 tn?1398357313 d update you guys on my insurance. My Transition of Care ended 4/1 ... but I was able to get a network adequacy exception for my doctor, Dr Kim, pretty easily. Again, I have a Cigna PPO plan from the marketplace. Cigna pays 80% of in network charges to specialists (and NOTHING to out of network specialists!!!!). All I had to do was call and make a network adequacy request. The first line I got was, well, there are neurosurgeons in network in your area.
4251679 tn?1370305531 6 weeks is the min age limit they can go but that also depends on the day care. The one my daughter will go to starts at 6 weeks but the one i work at doesnt take them till 9 months. We went ahead and reserved her spot when i was 2 months preg bc it fills up fast and i dont want her at any other day care not even the one i work at.

Avatar f tn I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.
Avatar m tn I call BCBS and they say this Doctor is in the network; and then I log onto BCBS site and it shows the doctor is in network; BUT when I call the doctor the office says they are not taking the insurance and BCBS list is not updated. I even have a rep from BCBS call the office and they tell the rep the same thing. I do not know if I should switch to the Humana POS or stay with my BCBS. My BCBS is an awesome plan if I can just get seen.
10707428 tn?1415569790 My husband kicked me out yesterday. He said he wants a divorce because he doesnt love me anymore. This is all so sudden, and a shock to me, because i thought we had a great marriage. My question is, i want to move outside the country, im 7 months. My question is can i fly on plane across the ocean when im 7 months? Can he sue me for kidnapping his child even though he's not born yet?
Avatar f tn During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.
Avatar m tn t work and she is the bread winner and in the past i used drugs to hide my pain and my pride. I only straighten up when she threatens divorce. Then I see what I have done. I ask her to point it out to me and she's tired of doing that. She doesn't have a life.
1691275 tn?1322327507 is there a Benzo network of any kind? Or anything like it? Or, for that matter, is there any way to find out if an MD, psychiatrist, or neurologist is informed about benzo withdrawal? Thanks!
Avatar n tn Hell, I stopped reading about half way when you mentioned taking your son out to the barn. This dude sounds like a douche bag. I believe a wife should try to "take care" of her man. However, this guy is abusive. You should divorce him. You said the kids are bigger. Leave him.

Avatar f tn m going through a much needed divorce, it should be final in September when I get my divorce decree. The DF and I are living here in Iowa as of now, but as soon as my divorce is final I am wanting to move back home to Michigan. However moving costs a lot of money these days, especially when moving out of state. I don't know what would be best for my family at this point.
Avatar n tn As a member of an EPO, you can use the doctors and hospitals within the EPO network, but cannot go outside of the network for care. So there are no out-of-network benefits other than life threatening emergencies. PPO is a Preferred Provider Organization which allows you, as a member, to visit whatever in-network physician or healthcare provider you wish without first requiring a referral from a primary care physician.
Avatar f tn So my husband and I have been seperated since June (almost my entire pregnancy) and he also filed for divorce. Its's been a very messy situation and he has caused a lot of unnecessary drama and stress to my pregnancy. He's made a kinds of allegations of mw cheating to me being abusive to him and our 2 yr old son. All of this really sycks because I am definitely considered "high risk pregnancy" which he knows but just simply doesn't care.
Avatar f tn Besides how are you supposed to raise those kids after you divorce when you are a stay at home mom. Divorce opens up a whole new can of worms. Two things from the little tht you posted. You could be having a serious bout of depression, hormone fluctuations, or might just need to add something to your life for you only. Adult time, me time, a hobby of some sort, make a few friends and a good way to do that is to see if a moms group is active in your area and you can check that on the computer.

Avatar n tn I had to go through 2 levels of appeals, stating that the doctor gave me the same care, testing, and referrals that an in network doctor would have, and that all the referrals were done in network, just as if an in network doctor would have ordered. The doctors office, not surprisingly refused to give me a statement acknowledging that they incorrectly informed me in the first place. I just gave my statement of what I had been told.
Avatar n tn I think it only works this way for in-network doctors/hospitals. Out of network, I think it becomes a battle between the insurer and doctor/hospital. But surely, the insurance company will not care to fight for good pricing very much before the deductible is met. I think that with indemnity plans, it is like always being out of network. So only a very small incentive for the insurer to fight for low pricing for you until the deductible is met.
Avatar n tn aspx So part of the Affordable Care Act legislation says that our health insurance must have a specialist in network within a reasonable distance to cover everything we need ... even though CHIARI is not a recognized sub-specialty for neurosurgeons, and there is no official list of chiari specialists ...
Avatar f tn the Affordable Care Act is an uphill battle, relying largely on the notion that the American people have rejected the landmark reform bill that passed in March. Speaking on the House floor last night, Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA) asserted that "in all polls taken" Americans "overwhelmingly" oppose President Obama's plan. In reality, however, public opinion is shifting in favor of the Affordable Care Act.
Avatar f tn First of all, I was never told that the anesthesilogist performing the procedure with my surgeon was out of network. My surgeon was in networka and so was the hospital. It wasnt my choice who the surgeon chose to do the anesthesia. Who is responsible for this? Please advise. THey are billing me 1900 dollars.
Avatar f tn The mental thing is what takes a toll on you. So haivng that strong support network is importatn,as are knowing your triggers. As for caregiving, that is a tough situation to be in. Like an alcoholoic bartending. Is there anyway possible for you to take a break for a bit until you get this under some control? I know in several states they have respite care workers that step in when the caregiver needs a break, and depending on their insurance,it may even cover the cost of the respite care.
Avatar f tn i filed for divorce and im due in 3 weeks. Big ol mess.
