Avatar f tn I am a Christian woman and I thought I had finally found the perfect, Christian mate; but he obviously left out many pertinent details about his life. Still, I was/am trying to make the best of this situation and not knowing all there is to know about men, wondered if he is speaking for the masses, or merely from his own perspective. Thank you, again.
Avatar f tn During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.
Avatar f tn Hi there, I was married to a christian when I was 20. The relashionship became abusive verbaly and then was started to get physicaly. I told him to leave and he did. We had no kids. I am remarried now with 2 beautiful children. I am a christian. When I got my divorce I wasn't working so I could get legal aide in Canada. I'm not sure where you live but look into that. Don't wait to get the divorce. You need to move on with your life and not have this burden on you.
Avatar m tn With the national U.S.A. divorce rate running around 50% or so, should marriages be scaled back or even eliminated? Should we bother with something that has such a high chance of ending in failure, involving other innocent family members, including children, along with lasting financial problems? Is there a better alternative?
Avatar f tn I don't have a doc and I work overnights so first morning is a no go lol...I'm worried though because im still in process of a divorce and my boyfriends parents are very strict Christian....
9136326 tn?1402967358 I know divorce is awful. I'm not married yet because I'm scared of marrying too quick and it ending in divorce. I do not ever want to experience that. But when it gets to the point of hurting you, your spirit, and it's emotionally exhausting...you have to put yourself and your children first. It will be okay love, stay strong and take deep breaths. It will all work out.

Avatar f tn We are all human, prone to mistakes and shortcomings, whether a person calls themself a Christian or not. No one is perfect and not a single person is going to get through life pleasing everybody.

Avatar f tn I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.
Avatar f tn - Federal authorities had been monitoring members of a Michigan-based Christian militia preparing to fight the Antichrist for some time but were forced to "take them down" over the weekend after learning of an imminent threat against police, the U.S. attorney leading the prosecution said Tuesday.
10707428 tn?1415569790 My husband kicked me out yesterday. He said he wants a divorce because he doesnt love me anymore. This is all so sudden, and a shock to me, because i thought we had a great marriage. My question is, i want to move outside the country, im 7 months. My question is can i fly on plane across the ocean when im 7 months? Can he sue me for kidnapping his child even though he's not born yet?
Avatar m tn t work and she is the bread winner and in the past i used drugs to hide my pain and my pride. I only straighten up when she threatens divorce. Then I see what I have done. I ask her to point it out to me and she's tired of doing that. She doesn't have a life.
Avatar f tn Any ladies who are christian, please respond. Do u believe birth control interfears with your belief? I've heard this and that but I am still confused.
Avatar f tn marriage is not permanent and divorce is very common unfortunately. If divorce would never be an option for you, then I would suggest holding off on the wedding until you are sure that you have found your soul mate. If you see signs that you wouldn't be happy in marrying him, then don't. None of us know what the future holds and we especially never know how our marriage will turn out. It's a chance we take for the person we love.
Avatar f tn This live-your-life-while-you-have-it mentality is why our society has so many social and financial issues--high divorce rates, children out of wedlock, broken homes and families, extra-marital affairs in over 50% of marriages, domestic violence and abuse, abandonment, and overwhelming credit card debt. Not many people seem to care that promises, committment and love are worth fighting for and saving when times get tough and/or tempting.
Avatar m tn I wish I could help you during what is obviously a very serious crisis for you, but I fear our cultures are just too different. I would recommend you speak with someone inside your faith to help guide you.
Avatar f tn You advise was just as effect and similar to other posters and OMG, yes, there are Christian and non-christian in all the forums, so everyone has the right to their express their opinion as you did and as you judged also. When someone post, they risk having opinions that they might or might not agree with and many people are regulars that have been on board for years, so anyone who post risk advice that they might not agree with.
Avatar f tn So my husband and I have been seperated since June (almost my entire pregnancy) and he also filed for divorce. Its's been a very messy situation and he has caused a lot of unnecessary drama and stress to my pregnancy. He's made a kinds of allegations of mw cheating to me being abusive to him and our 2 yr old son. All of this really sycks because I am definitely considered "high risk pregnancy" which he knows but just simply doesn't care.
Avatar f tn I just filled my mind with positive thoughts remember everything is in gods hands and i downloaded the Redeemer app on my cell phone that app is great for any situation it gives you peace comfort and guidance.
8591317 tn?1410732068 So I'm 20 years old, this is my 1st pregnancy, and my fiancé is very excited about our little fetus. But my family is soo religious (Pentecostal) & are against premarital sex/baby.I was roo but things happen. I'm aware that I've broken my promise to God & I've already repented. Now problem is telling my family. They will definitely flip and possibly disown me. I mean, I don't live with them.
Avatar n tn I am a young Christian lady who is pregnant for the first time, I have so far had a lot of changes and I request for guidance from mature mum.
Avatar n tn Hi. I am currently going through a divorce. I am a lesbian, and I'm told as a Christian that this will send me to hell. I came out to my husband and he freaked, which is partly why we are getting divorced. I have an incredibly HIGH sex drive. I've even slept with my husband knowing I don't want to reconcile b/c the need is so great. I can't see women. I can't sleep with men.
Avatar n tn Give a bit of grace to help yourself heal, take some time to take care of you.
