I also have a build up on top of my skin which looks like aging .I can peel this off.A substance seems to come from my scalp that hardens and looks like skin but is pale when it is wet. This is on my entire body but is particularly disturbing on my face and eye area.I had noticed also that it turns dark every few days.If this fungus is causing build-upon top of my skin I can imagine it is the reason for my shortness of breath. It is also building up inside.
I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin. Part of it broke off but I could still see that the pore was plugged and a day or two later top of the plug was sticking out again. i can't find ANYTHING online that looks like it.
Hello, It looks like seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis skin. It is usually caused by overgrowth of Malassezia furfur. This skin disease commonly affects adolescents and young adults, especially in warm and humid climates and is aggravated by sweating and humidity. Topical antifungals and mild steroids are the usual treatment and combination of the two can be used to treat stubborn patches.
Nail removal is a simple procedure, and the skin underneath hardens right away, so you wouldn't be in any discomfort while it grows back in. Take care. Dr.
The lump looks superficial and is underneath the skin of your palm. It could be a tendon cyst. This is a benign tumor. It doesn’t usually cause pain and tenderness unless it compresses the other structures. You may want to have it checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care.

I can leave on for six hours or even more and it won't dry. It shouldn't dry. It just hardens slightly. It can irritate the skin a bit if the edges of the poultice start to dry. I used to need to wear the clay all the time. Now I can go for a day without wearing it and without pain. My three doctors are amazed at my improvement. My rheumatologist recently threw up his hands and said: well, I am not sure you need me at this point!
Basically I went to my GP, who is a skin specialist two weeks ago. He examined my skin and said he couldnt see any broken capillaries or any other sign / symptons of rosacea, however due to the redness he said he would start off with prescibing me metrogel to try. However, when I got home I tried it - nothing happened. The next day I was red all day, as most things I used to put on my face irritated it. I did this for a week, making a log book of everything I did, I eat e.t.

When a person develops cirrhosis the liver shrinks in size and hardens. In earlier stages of liver disease the liver can become inflamed and can enlarge. Does your doctor give a reason for your low platelet count, low WBC, high iron, enlarged varices? I haven't had any banding done personally so I can't tell you from personal experience how long it takes to recover. All I know is from my friends that have had it done.
There is a short time period when a patient has stage 4 liver disease as diagnosed by biopsy (the gold standard for staging liver disease) that the other complications of cirrhosis have not manifested themselves. If your husband should fall into that narrow window it is "technically" possible. But then again if there is any question of the stage of liver disease a biopsy is always performed use contraindicated due to other health issues.
I thought I'm having a really weird case of skin disease here. I also have the same thing on the sides of my fingers, my palms and one my toes and now my right elbow's having 'em too! It started two days ago as a few blisters on my left index finger and I thought it was just nothing, the next day when I woke up it felt warm and it itches more than the other day! It itches really bad but I decided not to scratch it or pop them coz I'm afraid they might get worse!
The condom itself will absorb some of the friction rather than the skin of your penis, as the condom moves slightly during intercourse-rather than the skin moving so much. This will help protect your delicate skin while it may have a chance to heal. It takes a LONG time for this skin to heal. Be sure though, that you go to the doctor and describe your problem. Don't be embarrased. Quit putting ANYTHING on it.
Have you noticed any changes in the texture of your skin or the inability for sores to heal on your skin? Schleroderma effects your collagen production and eventually hardens or entombs your soft tissue organs. The esophogus is usually the first thing to be effected. You can have an upper scope done and also a biopsy to determine if your esophogus has been damaged.
Diseases of the thoracic spine may lead to thoracic disc herniation. Patients with Scheuermann's disease, for example, are more likely to suffer thoracic disc herniations. It appears these patients often have more than one herniated disc, though the evidence is not conclusive. Doctor's at the UCSF he said were planning to do some drastic plastic surgery, implanting balloons underneath his scalp in the subcutaneous layer, and inflating them to stretch the skin folds out for some time, then eventually excizing the extra skin. I don't think I'd wanna mess with my scalp like that, but it would still be nice to wear a shaved head without looking like I've got garfield stripes. I was thinking, would botox work? Any takers?
I have never had any white puss or swelling redness around these troublesome blisters/vesicles, which isn't like any normal skin infection I've ever had before. Can anyone help me diagnosis this problem please?
They opened above his hair line and thru his eye lid, but after the op his skin refused to bond back down, it would fill with fluid, preventing the skin layers bonding, add to that all that was removed and we were fighting a losing battle. They put a drain in for a week, removed it and the fluid came back. Taking measurements of the fluid coming from his head was more than a little stressfull.
I notice many people being very specific in how they contracted Hepatitis C virus. Like, " contracted through transfusion", or,"needle stick accident-healthcare pro," or whatever. Is those individuals' disease somehow different from, "cross-contaminated tattoo ink", or "used drugs intravenously"? I thought we were all in the same boat.Perhaps a separate forum- "Their own fault", and, "victims of"?
in the side - I have not been able to wear regular bras for some time - I just wear stretchy tank tops . but in the summer heat this is causing skin on skin rash under my breast area, hence another problem . Back to the cramp. It catches and the only relief I can get is to stretch arms upward , or use rapid breathing technique (much like used in labor) that seems to release/ relieve the spasm .
Radiated skin hardens and doesn't stretch as it would be required to do with implants. But you could be the lucky 10 to 30% and not have an issue. That said, implants are typically placed under the pectoral muscle and a lump would be above it so you would feel it easily. I'm attaching a post that I made a while back for someone else that will give all the reconstruction options out there. Best wishes. http://www.medhelp.
I just stumbled across this site that looks to have a potential diagnosis/solution. (www.hillderm.com/skin-disease-treatments/itchy-ears.shtml) They call it Chronic Eczematous External Otitis and recommend prescription ear drops called DermOtic Oil. I have no idea how good the info is, but I'm going to check it out. I'm also going to look into the food allergy idea, as I'm the type that wants to know what caused this in the first place.
I am a 25 yr. old male with a problem similar to what I have seen posted on other forums on this website. The problem is a FLACCID penis that is hard and has gotten smaller. I have had this problem since the age of 19. I don't know how it occurred but one day after masterbating it started to retract and tighten up and get real small while in the flaccid state. It eventually stretched back out but since then it has been in a similar state where it is hard while flaccid.
Hi, My daughter was just diagnosed with trichotillomania. an impulse disorder in which she pulls her hair out. In my research, skin picking is in the same catagory. The treatment for this type of disorder is therapy and medications such as Zoloft and Klonopin. These disorders are closely related to OCD. Good luck to you.
Runny nose everyday, and bleeding daily in the summer. I also started to develop some skin rash this year. ...Anyway, a month ago one day I felt like there is a cotton ball stuffed in my right ear, or, sort of like water in my year I couldn't shake out. It gradually got worse and worse.
