blurring vision - lazy eye lids- effects nerve in eyes. with long term use be it known, I went to my eye doctor (yearly visit) he found after testing, I had slight left eye signs of early Glaucoma. he than asked me what b.p meds am I useing daily? I told him, and he said - Point blank get off the Diovan ! it can cause Glaucoma.

as I didnt have this happen before.. not even when on toprol or diovan. but did have worse side effects from them ! have you ever had anyone with these problems or symptoms , that is on verapamil or maxzide ??

I am also taking diovan 80.12.5 once a day. I would like to get off this medication as it is making me very sluggish and tired all the time. How do I wean off this medicine as I am only taking it for one month.

as the side effects from toprol and diovan are very harsh for me! I cant understand why a Doctor would go backwords and put me back on a medication that caused me problems before? seems strange to me ! and now that im on the stuff, im haveing all the bad effects again -shortness of breath at times, and dizziness and fatigue, massive headaches ! and cramping everywhere.. b.p dropped down but its not under control yet.. as it spikes..

I just realized that I have been taking three 300mg tablets of WellbutrinXL and I haven't felt any of its effects. No jitteriness, and more importantly, no seizures. What does this say about how good WellbutrinXL is for me? I felt the same way taking 900 mg as I did taking 450 mg. I did call my doctor who told me to take 150 mg today and resume the 450mg (my regular dose) tomorrow. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I have now been on Metopropol almost a month. I do get depressed (I probably shouldn't have read up on the possible side effects) and get tired very early in the evening. By 8 p.m. I'm ready to hit the sack. Very annoying-- The running hasn't been affected too much; I'm slower, but not by much. However, I'm constantly hungry. 8 I have high bloodpressure and have been on Diovan for 2 months . But My Dr. is giving me Toprol and Zocor too while I wait to see the ENDO . I am kinda scared to take all these meds along with what the Endo is gonna give me. Anyone with hyperthyroidism taking any of these meds and do they have bad side effects?

I am pretty constipated sometimes even after as much water I drink. I have been reading alot on the diovan hct side effects and come to find out that all of my problems are from it. I am going to have to find a new bp medicine. I sincerely thank you for your time to reply.

Instead, the pharmacist gave her 150mcg of it. After three months, she was feeling awful, Ached all over had a fever and much more. What advise can I give her and what kind of doctor does she need to see to get better? The GP that put her on it is giving her prednisone to make her feel better but as soon as she goes off of it the fever and pain come back and she is having awful effects of the prednisone. Pleas help!

my dad had a triple bypass last apr 21. last saturday, jul 4/2009 he started on diovan 160/12.5 (from corvesy+) and since Sat he's been experiencing chest pains that is not going away. is this a side effect? is he allergic to the this new med he's taking or is this angina? should he get himself to an ER?

I am now taking Magnesium supplements, and drinking Green smoothies every day, but because I take Diovan for high blood pressure I'm wondering about the effects of too much potassium in my blood stream. Any thoughts on this?

m experiences most of the listed pysical side effects (dilated pupils, nausea for most of the day, dizzyness, some restlessness etc.), but mentally I feel like I'm alive again and don't want to give up this medication at all. I have corrected the dosage as of today (1 x 50mg/day for the remaining of the 14 days and then increase to 1 x 100mg/day).

I have been on verapmil and maxzide for just over 30days now , switched off of toprol xl and diovan (due to adverse side effects and massive problems) Im started getting alot of trapped gas and bloating belly conditions! no matter what I eat or drink -it happens? it does go down within 2 or 3 hours after. but sometimes I get the worse ever trapped gas! painfull goes right to my shoulder and upper back and chest ! pushing bloating feeling ?

I have tried numerous - norvasc, coversyl, enalapril, atenolol, diovan, propranolol n god knows what else. Out of all these, I have actually found one that suits me - nif-ten (a combination of nifedipine & atenolol). Unfortunately, it has a side effect of causing gum disease/periodontal. I am looking out for other meds to replace this.

He stated that the only issue he could find was a slightly elevated heartrate. I do take Diovan (80mg) and Toprol-XL (25mg) for hypertension, which is under control (yesterday my BP was 118/68). When my stomach is empty I PVC's once in a great while.
