First, I had a dry nose and mouth throughout the entire 48 weeks and also for a month and a half after finishing Tx. At times my mouth was so dry I could not swallow, especially at night. My nose was also dry and crusty inside. Disgusting. Hope you are not eating, LOL. I measured my water and, in order to get the 1 gallon a day (4 liters), I was constantly drinking, day and night. Even without the measuring, I would have been drinking because my mouth was parched and I could not swallow.

I am taking 160 mg Diovan for high blood pressure, as well as 20 mg Levostatin for high cholesterol. I believe that I have ed caused by the Diovan. Is it safe to take ed drugs as well?

I have been everywhere on the web and here and nothing seems to fit, until i did some research and saw that dry mouth is sympotmatic of diabetes. Can anyone shed some light? Then I started oil pulling bc I looked up dry mouth and throat and some pretty weird things came up. Like sorts of gum disease. Oil pulling helps kill and pull all the toxins out of your mouth. I'm much better now. Still a little dry but I can sleep. Then about my hip (left side) I started stretching (the best I could lol) and made sure I had lots and lots of back,belly and leg support which really helped. I am a 47 year old woman with terrible dry mouth. I have had several tests and the doctor can't find anything in the blood tests. This is miserable! If you feel like you are dehydrated unless you drink that much water that warrants a visit with the doc. I did some research for you and found out that dry mouth can be a symptom of opiate withdrawal. I read that you can suck on ice cubes, chew gum or mints BUT it will pass with time. There is also special toothpaste for those with excessive dry mouth.

t seem to get rid of my thirst. I will drink. Until. My stomach hurts and I still feel dry. I hardly ever drink enough and when I am pregnant I try to drink enough and the way I know I am drinking enough is that I won't be thirsty. I just wish that I did not feel like I am thirsting to death. I even feel light headed and dizzy.
