None of this explains what happened to me. They were asking about all of his medicine and he was on the digitek and had to take some of his medicine back up to the pharmacy with like 10 pills left. I am very lost in what happened with him and would just like some closure on why he detriated so quickly. If you can be of any assistance I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks, sweetredt!!

As Toprol also reduces blood pressure and I have low blood pressure as it is, I started having dizziness and nausea. He then put me on Digitek, which has since been recalled and I havebeen on 0.25 mg of digoxin for about 2 months. I recently started to have cramps, abnormal bowel movements and I feel very exhausted. The doctor reduced the dosage to .125 mg and on the first day I felt better until about 6PM and then the cramps started again.
After my heart attack 6 years ago, I was on digitek for a few months only. The known side effects of digitek: "Apathy, blurred vision, breast development in males, change in heartbeat, confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, lower stomach pain, nausea, psychosis, rash, vomiting, weakness, yellow vision" I was concerned with the prescription when there was a recall. As it turned out it was the generic "digitek" for digoxin.
I did have a chest infection about one-month before my last heart episode. Did you also hear about the Digitek recall and that problem? I stopped taking it the week my breathing problem stopped?
Has anyone ever used the GlucoWatch? The school nurse is recommending it, since my 8-year-old son has so many lows and can't tell most of the time. I know the watches are very expensive, and I'm not sure whether our insurance will cover it. Just wondered if anyone had an opinion -- good or bad -- about the device.
I never had intercourse. although there was genetial to gential rubbing 2 years ago. 3.5 weeks ago, I started noticing these rashes. Two on the side of my lower back and few on my legs; thighs and below my knees ( about 6-8 on each leg). They were red in color, not raised and dry looking. his DR had him on Digitek and lasix for a while saying it was CHF. He got really sick last saturday and we took him to the ER. They found he was in A-FIB and they did a few tests. (he looked pale) They admitted him and after a cardiologist came in and listened to him they said he had a Valve leak and murmur. The did a Heart Catherization and found their were no clogged arteried, but he has Mitral Valve regurgitation. They said it's pretty severe.

Mabye you should try to set time limits for when he can or can't watch TV. Like mab an hour before lunch, after lunch, and after dinner, for a total of 3 hours. Then minus min untill you think it's undercontrol. If he doesn't like the new arrangement then if he watches TV when he's not suppose to then sit him in time-out everytime he disobeys you. You could also try making schedules for everyday when he's not in school or for when he gets home from school.
