863679 tn?1239154667 I have another employee that shares work surfaces and other office equipment with this employee (copy machines, staplers, fax machines, etc). Should we be sanitizing these work surfaces regularly? The employee is concerned and frankly I don't know what to tell her!
Avatar n tn I was very worried by this, but when the nurse checked it again using a sphygonometer, she recorded a level almost identical to my own yesterday afternoon, and she thought the sphygonometer result was more reliable as she thinks they are a more reliable guide despite the fact that the vast majority of home users - as well as some GP clinical staff - will use the standard ‘shop sold’ machines that most of us have at home.
Avatar f tn I know the office has ultrasound machines there. My boyfriend just doesn't want to miss it if he knows there will be an ultrasound.
Avatar m tn My guess is, the in-office big machines are prbly more effective, but I cdn’t justify that expense, not covered by medical insurance.
Avatar f tn And the machines are really detailed at my docs office. So it wouldnt shock me if they told me early. My 12 wk appt is next Tues and Im real excited! But congrats on working your way out of the 1st trimester!
Avatar f tn What type of machines detected your lesions? My MRI was taken with a 1.5T and am curious what strength others have had that lead to their diagnosis. What strength are the MS Specialists using for detection?? Thanks!
Avatar n tn Are you talking about the Ceragem Massaging machines? It is nice to have machines to massage you but you need to move your body to lose weight. Walking is a great way to lose weight. Increase your physical activities to 1/2 hour a day. That 1/2-hour can be broken up through the day, 10 minutes here and 20 minutes there. For example, park your car in the back of the parking lot and walk to the store. That will give you additional walking.
Avatar f tn I need a CT scan unrelated to MS, so I called to make an appointment with a huge chain of imaging centers near here. During the inevitable long wait on hold, I heard over and over their canned ad, including an announcement about a new 3T MRI machine, *open*. I've never heard of this! Have any of you? This is not something I personally would use, because my claustrophobia is very minimal, and I've had many MRIs in closed machines, so I'm used to them.
Avatar f tn hi does xerox machine has radiation and bad for my pregnancy, i am 10 weeks pregnant and at office sometimes i dont notice if someones using photocopy machine and before when i havent knew that i am pregnant i use to photocopy some documents, were using photocopier machine buit with printer in the office...
Avatar f tn I would like to start over with everything. But what I really want is just an ultrasound from another office. My doctor is telling me that the machines may not be great and thats why we aren't seeing much. I want to see if I can see more at another office. My doctor now has been great!! She delievered my first via c-section. I just feel so bad. I just don't want her to know. More than likely I won't stay with the office I find. Just want some second opinions! Thanks!
Avatar n tn Anyway, my questionn is, do most asthmatics need nebulizer machines? I own one at home and seem to use at least once a month, and sometimes even once a day during weather changes or severe bronchitis. I actually just made an appointment with a pulmologist (or asthma specialist I guess) this month, which I probably should have a long time ago if it wasn't for my regular primary care doctors telling me I didnt need one.
647754 tn?1270036911 I use OpenOffice.org all the time. In my opinion it is far better than MS office, if not for the operation and options then for the price. Free!! Not to mention you can convert from many different formats that MS office can not read, let alone convert. Oh, and one more thing, far less of a chance for a virus with openoffice than MS office. As for printing, that all works through your operating system and computer system it self. Lexmark? isn't that your printer? and/or printer driver?
Avatar m tn I went to an Opthamologist and he had me look in some machines and looked at my eyes and had me look at objects but he didn't use the pilocarpine drops. He has been an eye doc for about 20 years. He told me I have Adie's pupil. Does this sound like a proper diagnosis? By the way, before I went to him I had a CT of my head without contrast. It came back normal.
Avatar f tn Depending if ur doc office has the machines.. My doc didnt so I had to go to two seperate places one to see the doc and the other for the sono.....
979080 tn?1323433639 I called Dr Afdhal's office and they said you have to be a patient there to get a Fibroscan as part of a study. They said there are no Fibroscan machines in the NYC area. I would like to know where is everybody getting their Fibroscans?
446896 tn?1237802742 I know I am not the only one who absolutely freaks out when having my blood pressure taken. Every time I go to the Dr's office, they always comment on how high my pulse and blood pressure are (last week when I went it was 127/92 and pulse of 133!) Ha...and those numbers arent even unusual for me! I know the pulse is high, but I don't worry about it as much just because I take it frequently at home now, and know that it is usually in the 80's when I'm at home.
Avatar m tn go see a orthopedic hand doctor. call around and find one that has x-ray machines in the office, it'll save you time. i'd avoid a general practice doctor unless for force to seen one for a referral.
Avatar n tn I've had headaches, tingly fingers, and a little higher than normal blood pressure readings. My blood pressure was normal my entire pregnancy up until now- 30 weeks. Saturday it was 133/82. Eh, that's okay. Just now it was 143/86. I remember my doctor telling me 140/90 was considered high.. So, given the symptoms, I contacted the on call doctor.
Avatar n tn The public blood pressure machines are not a very good source to determine the true blood pressure. It appears you are doing everything right so the probability is in your favor for normal bp.
Avatar f tn The Bp became normal after I delivered, but then it picked two days after that,I was kept in the hospital for sometime when they were trying to maintain it,I was nervous the whole time, and evrytime I saw the Bp machines I became more nervous, the pills they gave me helped a lot,but now evrytime I go to the clinic or hospital I get so nervous, thinking "what's the reading going to be this time?"And the Bp would automatically pick!
Avatar f tn Do you struggle with sinus problems or sinus headaches? Headaches in pregnancy can be normal, but can also indicate other problems. What is your blood pressure? Do you see stars in your vision? Do you struggle with stomach pain? The combination of these symptoms can indicate Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (PIH) also known as pre-eclampsia. (One cause of headaches in pregnancy needing medical intervention). There are other causes as well, some benign and others not so).
Avatar f tn Sit at my desk top in my office,/loft .. but have a laptop also as back up, I get arm ache , carpel tunnel... but I am an addict so put up with discomfort .
419158 tn?1316571604 Very cool... congrats on your healthy baby boy (did you just find out the gender at this appt?). I hope my doctors office uses the 3d/4d machines... I'll be getting my gender u/s in 2 weeks. I love the detail you see in those pictures!
1530342 tn?1405016490 http://beta.news.yahoo.com/obamas-signature-real-autopenned-122724800.html WASHINGTON (AP) — It's the open secret that nobody in government wants to talk about: That cherished presidential signature that's tucked away in a scrapbook or framed for all to see might never have passed under the president's hand. For decades, presidents of both parties have let an autopen do some of the heavy lifting when it comes to scrawling their signatures.
