It certainly sounds consistent with a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>yeast</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>infection</span>
, especially since your symptoms improved with the diflucan
. (I'm assuming that was the pill
you took). Sometimes the inflammation takes a while to die down, even after the yeast
is under control.
Sometimss a steroid cream such as Clobetasol is necessary, or you might respond to hydrocortisone.
Also, you will want to re-establish the "good bacteria" so the yeast
doesn't come right back again.
