diflucan yeast die off

I will see if I can find Yeast Cleanse online. I feel like the yeast and the diflucan are a big part of why I feel so bad.

I plan to test out the nystatin and diflucan and see if I feel better after killing the yeast. I am nervous about the die off effects. The whole yeast diet it basically avoiding all sugars,candies, and white bread/flours, and caffeine, and lots of other things should be avoided. I guess it just depends on what you can do. I can tell I'm going to have a hard time with the diet!

I just feel wet all the time, its worse in the morning when I first wake up. Could this be yeast die off or normal symptoms of the drug? I just dont know because I've never had one before.

Does this sound unusual, just kinda looking for opinions! He told me to take Diflucan once to re stabilize my digestive system and take acidopholus once daily. He also directed me to buy monstat topical cream to apply three times a day and selsun blue to apply once daily for 20 minutes, wow!

The main thing I am wanting to know is what was used, for how long, in what dosage and what the die-off effects were. We are looking at S. Boulardi, Nystatin, Diflucan as our main options. Thank you for any help.

since then i have been to my gyno who cultured my yeast infection and said best medication for it was diflucan, so he also prescribed me to diflucan for 7 days-never went away. then he again prescribed me diflucan 150 once for 3 weeks. never went away!!! this is my first yeast infection so i dont know why diflucan will not cure me. i am 22 years old, smoke and drink on the weekends, work out regularly, work nights, recently pretty stressed.

She also perscribed Diflucan since the antibiotic was strong and i tend to develop yeast infections. She told me to take the Diflucan after the 10 day antibiotic was thru. Day 2 on the antibiotic i engaged in oral sex with my boyfriend. By Day 4 i had a full blown yeast infection most likely from the combination of the oral sex and antibiotic. I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic??

Ok I had a yeast infection been having them on n off since I was like three months..I been taking diflucan pills and using cream proscibed by my doc.the last yeast infection I had they gave me the seven day treatment...u been done taking the but last I had sex with mii faince n when I when to the restroom it burned for me to pee ...I thought that was over with bc that the problem I been having but now the yeast is gne I didn't think this should be happening....

I have been struggling with symptoms of a yeast infection on and off for 6 months. It all started after taking antibiotics for 10 days in June 2013. Hi guys. I'm suffering so bad here. I have a horrible yeast infection. I went to my doctor and she prescribed diflucan and also clomitozole?? (Sp)...I am so itchy and sore I want to cry. Should I try monistat 7. Or wait out the diflucan?. What works for you?

She recommended a gyn doctor that is good with diseases but he is no longer at the hospital she sent me too. I am constantly getting creams and diflucan for the yeast infections. I feel that my gyn is not meeting my need. I do not want to live on the creams and diflucan. I heard about a gyn on the radio that I would like to go to. I will make an appointment with her. I never took diflucan long term. I will get two diflucans at one time.

I know that you cant take diflucan (fluconazole ~generic for diflucan) but I was wondering if there was anything else. m 13 weeks pregnant and 2 weeks ago i developed a yeast infection caused by an antibiotic porescribed by my Ob/Gyn. I went straight to him and he prescribed me with Monistat....a week passed..finished the treatment and i could still see that white discharge...went back to my doctor and he prescribed Terconazole....i just finished the treatment 2 days ago....and i still have it!!!!! In the past the only thing that worked for me was Diflucan.....is it safe to use at this point in my pregnancy?

I then came back and had a yeast infection (my first ever) and was prescribed Diflucan. I then came back and they diagnosed me with HPV and yet another yeast infection. My pap did come back normal after the HPV. Since this disaster my vagina has never been the same – my discharge is yellowish, the smell is off, and I burn badly after sex. Agree with above. But it's also extremely expensive. New Chapter and Mega Foods also make good ones, but also are expensive. It should only help with your immunity if you've had a die-off, usually due to antibiotics or steroidals, but hey, placebo works as well as anything else. And it can't hurt you.

Hi...candida is yeast and it can cause all types of issues...DIFLUCAN is one of the best meds I know to help rid someone of excess yeast. There r also diet changes that can also help..... I am prone to yeast infections when taking antibiotics, and DIFLUCAN is the only thing that helps. As far as dosage, sorry I can not help...I would suggest asking a Pharmacist as they know meds and interaction and reactions better then most drs.
