I have taken them before also as well as diflucan and was worried about liver damage. She did say the antibiotics I was on for the bacteria was some really powerful stuff and that it may be causing this heavy yeast growth but she was surprised that it keeps coming back even after the creams I used. I didn't think yeast was anything serious which was why I didn't ask the doctor at the time.
The recommended dose of paracetamol for a single adult is two standard 500 mg tablets. Researches have reported that the threshold for liver damage to start from a single paracetamol overdose is 15 gms (30 tablets). However liver damage could start to occur at a single overdose of 24 standard tablets or 150 mg/kg body weight, (whichever is the smaller).
I have been taking Darvocet for about two years now. I began just taking one a week at night after a bad day and it has progressed to 1-3 daily for about 6 months now. I went to the Dr. for a checkup yesterday and the ALT liver function test was high. The other liver tests were normal just that one was high. The Dr. thinks it is from my acid reflux medication and is changing that but I rarely take it. Could it be the Darvocet?

The only way to truly ease your mind is by being totally honest with him/her. I have liver damage and kidney damage due to drugs stage 2 liver stage 3 kidney.. if your liver were damaged and you had a flare your belly would be extended/pain upper right you would be lethargic/vomiting.. other symptoms but these being severe.. It is not fun and I would not wish it on anyone.. I contracted hep C from slamming and further continued the damage through pills/alcohol..
liver disease;
kidney disease;
a heart rhythm disorder; or
a personal or family history of "Long QT syndrome.

I am 34 years old, several months ago had an infection in the groin area, and was prescribed 3 200mg tablets for diflucan for a yeast infection. Well the diflucan did not clear the infection so I was prescribed 14 days of 200 mg diflucan again along with 30 mg of Lotrisone. I applied the Lotrisone to the groin area and to the glans of the penis. The infection did not clear after this and I was prescribed another 14 days of diflucan. I continued to use the Lotrisone.
I went to see my GYN and she prescribed Diflucan. It eased the symptoms, but became worse after completing the medicine. So I went back to the GYN and she prescribed diflucan again. I have been back to the doctor several times for the same symptoms so my doctor prescribed Boris Acid 14 days. This really helped the symptoms but once I stopped the medicine my symptoms came back. I have tried this medicine several times with the same result.
I've taken 2 Diflucan tablets one one friday and one on Saturday. Monday i started bleeding my period is not due for another week.
The yeast can give you 'brain fog' similar to Lyme, as I seem to recall ... but I was a bit ... uh, foggy-brained at the time. Definitely stay away from sweets and soft drinks till all this is sorted out. Sugar just feeds the yeast. I was very bloated and my eyes were bloodshot and my teeth were loose when the yeast was very strong, so Diflucan was the 'big gun' to go after it.

Just thinking,,,if a person is a stage 2 with moderate damage and does one full treatment and relapses,would the liver have reversed back to at least a stage 1?...also with this liver improvement,wouldnt the next round of treatment make it more sucessful...starting as a stage one now as appossed to stage two at the orginal start?
i know there are chances of viral mutations and all that ,but all these things aside...i think this is positive news to the re-treater....ANY THOUGHTS?
