Well my dermatologist is convinced its Candida (genital yeast infection), but the general practitioner I recently saw thought it could be jock itch, which is a separate yeast all together. At the moment I'm using Lotrimin Anti-fungal cream, which seems to help alleviate symptoms, and would hypothetically treat jock itch if I have it.
I know we are all different but maybe this will help. I was misdiagnosed and my dermatologists never figured it out. I suffered for almost two years until the power of prayer set me free. THANK YOU JESUS!! Well I had jock itch and did not know what it was. My dermatologist figured it was eczema and it was but they could not figure out the trigger. Said it must be allergies. But to what. I even went to an allergist. My vaginal area just started itching horribly one day.

1. The infection is in groin and around penis. During the day I put my shirt inside trousers but sometimes it comes out, bringing out a lot of spores. When my shirt is in, a lot of fungus spores are getting attached.
Maybe you are having an allergic reaction to something? Try changing your laundry detergent, your soap, etc., and see if that helps.

I realize about a day later I reoccurred Jock itch. I am not sure if I occured Jock Itch prior to sexual intercourse. Though it is called jock itch, it may not itch always. Usually a reddish rash or area of darkened or tanned skin appears on penis/scrotum/groin fold/adjacent thighs. This is often accompanied by a burning or tingling sensation.
Also the diagnosis of jock itch appears to be correct since the sensation responded to application of an antifungal and the rash has dried up and is becoming scaly. The treatment may take about 4-5 weeks to produce complete results.

I've been having on and off itch problem in my scrutum. I tried most jock itch over the counter medication but they only provide temporary relief. I noticed that when I sweat in my groin area, the itch worsens. The itch is so discomforting. I tried scabies treatment also, but no effect. Natural Tea Tree oil don't seem to cure it. Please help.

can jock itch move to your penis? i have had it for months now and can only keep it under control w powder, not get rid of it. when i have sex w/my girlfriend, afterwards my penis gets red, raw and gets little cracking in the skin right under the head of my penis, some small amount of itching. has the jock itch moved to my penis or is this something else? i might add there are no sores or anything like that. it seems to heal and only get raw after sex.

The skin is slighty more scaly there than surrounding it. I just don't know that it's jock itch because there is no itching, burning or discomfort. The only symptom is the discoloration itself.
