I had a cortisone injection for a cyst near my eye 2 weeks ago and it seems to be coming back today! Theres a small bump on where it was injected and i hv been putting epiduo on it. Will the epiduo help to make it flat?
He started me with acanya and then gave epiduo a try (acne became bad on my forehead). Went back to him and he prescribed me epiduo with solodyn. After a few weeks i had tiny red spots on my face and huge pimples. I tried proactive as well and that didnt work. After that i told him the situation over the phone and he said to continue the solodyn with epiduo. i did for another month and nothing happened. He now switced me to cephalaxin and i have been on it for about three days.
I’ve seen multiples dermatologists about this problem to no avail. Over the past 2-3 years, I’ve been getting these extremely itchy pimples randomly on my forehead and, on rare occasions, other t-zone areas. The areas start out very much like a hive (red, blotchy, extremely itchy skin), but, unlike hives, end up leaving a red papule with the occasional white center that stick around for days to weeks.
I have been using Epiduo or TactuPump (Same thing, different names) since around December I think and it has helped a lot with my acne and I just have Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation left. Since around the middle of February I have had eye bags under my eyes, I think the cause of it was my sleeping late for a week or so, but after that I started sleeping 8-9 hours a night and the eye bags didn't budge. They're a little smaller now, but they are still here.
Three and a half years ago i used Epiduo on my forehead, temples and nose. I did expose to 45 mins of morning sun without spf.
My skin turned red, then brown. The inflamation/irritation still persists. I can feel the skin thicker (like inflamed skin feels like) when i raise my eyebrows. The area looks brown. It becomes more red when i touch it.
Texture on those areas is different and the skin is a little raised.
Ok so I have been prescribed differin gel for "acne" problems. I recently had a huge one with deep cyst (when i touch it i can feel hardness under the skin)...then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...

I use the cream at night, but I also realize that it's a long term treatment... and as such just because I use it at night, does not mean the sensitivity is gone in the morning/day.

it says its for rosacea but doest oracea work to kill acne to or no?and the differin gel 0.3% isnt this not as strong drying to dry up pimples as retin a micro 0.1%?why do you think he changed everything i dont wanna break out more for this stuff im thinking of calling the office friday and asking him but hes always so busy..do you think this is a good change or bad and why.im trying to uunderstand how the differin gel 0.3% not as strong as the retin a mico 0.
I've had this one bump beside my lip for almost a month now. This is the first time I got it. The bump used to be bigger. I tried popping it once (only blood came out) then it became smaller (current size). It doesn't hurt even if i press on it, nor fluctuates in size, nor itches, it's just there. I also tried putting on epiduo on it just to make sure if it's a pimple, but it didnt make a difference.
i also wash face with mild cleanser and apply moisturizer, after apply moisturizer on my nose still becomes more oily. I went to see the dermatologist and he given me the differin cream, differin also make my nose oily and did not stop the oil production,which is also not helping, i very hopeless right now. please help with my oily nose.
It is similar to a breakout, however, the bumps are small and never develop into a whitehead or black head. Basically, these small bumps form under the skin and just stay there. They are the most severe along my jawline. They are not red, irritated, or itchy, however, they make the texture of my skin very rough. If you squeeze them, white junk oozes out. I have done everything from gentle cleansing to a full blown acne treatment and nothing seems to work.
I've never waxed or shaved or anything like that but for some reason my upper lip is dark. Not extremely dark but dark enough to the point I'm uncomfortable with it. I've used bleaching creams but I think that made it worse so I stopped. I've also used lemon juice but I don't know if it's really working so any advice?

As I used the differin I did not notice any changes in the rash.. I went back after a while and my doctor decided to give me prednison for a week.. Which did ok.. the rash disappeared only to come back less than a week after finishing the prednison treatment..
Hi I've recently been using differin gel, but about a week ago I started breaking out bad and decided to take a week long break from the gel to heal my skin. I was wondering if taking a week long break was a good idea or not?
I got Differin from the doctor and used it for 6 months with no results. Is he to young to start to serious ritual? He is adopted and his birth mom has very serious acne. He is very worried about all these pimples. He started getting them at nine. The doctor told me they aren't really acne but I forgot what he called them so I could look them up.
I applied cetaphil oil control foam wash to it and only the first night, epiduo forte to it. Since then the what seems like an acne breakout is slowly going away and the bumps and swelling on the left side of my scrotum is what to me seems like it is gone. Before this weekend, I had been using Gold Bond Men's Essentials Body Powder Spray on my scrotum and the base of my penis because I'm very active and sweat a lot.
