difference between trinessa and tri-previfem

Now my causing says that the name brand has pink pills insted of green ( the last 7 pills ) and it spins to dispence every pill, and trinessa you have to punch trough the bottom to get the pills... Now I just want to know how the name brand of ortho tri cyclen really looks like, if anyone can provide a pic would be very helpful ...... Please I don't need anyone making fun of me here so for anyone that thinks this is just too stupid please don't post anything here ...

Hi there. I started taking Tri-Previfem (orthotricyclen generic) last Wednesday for my insanely heavy periods, and at first I felt fine. But starting yesterday (saturday) I have extreme fatigue, pain in the right side of my neck, hot flashes, headaches, nausea with acid reflux, and a general feeling of not being "right" if that makes sense. I had a pretty bad cold that ended last Monday, I was in bed for days.

I have been on birth control for 6-7 years, about a month or 2 ago i was switched from ortho lo to a generic (tri-previfem), I have been having issues with weight gain and bloating. Could this be caused by the birth control? I exercise daily and still have problems with losing weight. I dont know what to do?

I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday. It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.

I was off it for about a month when we got pregnant.

m also supposed to be on tri-previfem for my acne, but I never take it either. Probably this is just testament to my lack of motivation. On the certraline though, I've been afraid that it has contributed to my weight gain.

I did see some information regarding an interaction between metoprolol and this product, but it pointed to an increase in metoprolol bioavailability, which theoretically shouldn't adversely impact the PVC burden? Anyone have any input or knowledge.. Even similar personal experiences with this?

A few years ago I had a bad case of a cycle of yeast and bacterial infections. I believe it started when the stupid pharmacy changed my birthcontrol pills from ortho tri cyclin to trinessa. I had problems for at least a year non stop! It was the worst. My dr tried every kind of yeast treatment on me but all it did was give be a bacterial infection because the yeast was all gone, so when I was treated for the bacterial infection I got a yeast infection again.

Have been reading your posts...I know there are a difference between the Lyme and the HIV tests..But what are the Bars in the Lyme one..And what was the standerd window period for the HIV test in 2003..In January of 2003.In 7 month relationship and still going..Took the HIV test Negative. While I was in my first tri..Baby born test Negative..In 2007 tested for Lyme>positive. I know sometime the tests get changed to perform more better. Thank you for reading..

My first period after starting Trinessa was late. In fact, I wondered if I was pg again and my son was just a few months old! I want to say it started on the last pill that it started. Since then, it seems to start around day 4 or 5 or the last week of pills, but that first month was weird.

A month ago, I went to the doctor up at school (I am 20 and attend a university) and the doctor felt my ovaries and said they felt fine; she said the pain was probably still from the ruptures and to just take ibuprofen (it doesn't help). Could the pain still be from the ruptures or is something else going on? I would bleed for 90+ days at a time with barely two weeks between. With painful, debilitating cramps, and unusually heavy flow. I was first on birth control at 15. My doctor put me on Yasmin.
