The symptoms on face can be due to seborrheic dermatitis but for the itchiness on the whole body can be due to dry skin as well because winters can often cause dry skin. Other than that, other conditions cause itchy skin as well. Skin conditions like psoriasis,dermatitis,lice,scabies and hives, internal diseases like liver and kidney disorders,diabetes, iron deficiency anemia, irritation and allergic reactions to chemicals,wool,soaps,cosmetics and certain foods can cause itchy skin.

hello I have a problem I think I might have psoriasis or dermatitis I have this rash on my eye brows and around that areas it is redand sometimes between my nose and sometimes it gets this white flakes I also suffer from dandruff as well any body know a cure or rexactly what is is from what I describe it's embarassing

I have been having electrolysis on my face and this is when it first appeared and only came after my electrolysis treatement. However after my 3rd treatment my skin cleared up for a week and then the Seborrheic Dermatitis came back again without any inflammation of electrolysis. Initially, diagnosed with Contact dermatitis. Then other dermatologists say Seborrheic. I have had two prescription creams from the doctor, one for seborrheic dermatitis and one for rosacea, both made my skin feel tight and more dry. I have tried everything under the sun in the way of creams and am currently using Liz Earle for dry/sensitive skin. I have also tried vitamin e oil on my face which works for a few days then stops.
I also hear fermented foods like beer, wine, cheeses, vinegar, mushrooms and olives are developers of itchy skin and can effect dermatitis of the skin.

These dry patches can be due to seborrheic dermatitis or eczema skin. Seborrheic dermatitis is usually caused by overgrowth of Malassezia furfur. This skin disease commonly affects adolescents and young adults, especially in warm and humid climates and is aggravated by sweating and humidity.
Topical antifungals and mild steroids are the usual treatment and combination of the two can be used to treat stubborn patches.
At this point, there is really no effective medical therapy for hair loss. If your hair loss is associated with tinea and seborrheic dermatitis then the underlying disorders need to be addressed first.
Hair loss also has a genetic basis. Male or female pattern baldness may follow a hereditary pattern. Treatment of the tinea and seborrheic dermatitis may help resolve the hair loss. Creams may not be sufficient for scalp infections. You may need oral antifungal therapy.
