hello , I had an exposure 11 weeks ago and used prednisolone between weeks 8 to 11 , and after that got a negative ag/ab elisa hiv test . (11 weeks after exposure) . my question is that :as prednisone is an immunosupressant , could it hide my hiv antibodies ? if yes , how about hiv ag ? and is my hiv ag/ab test after 11 weeks (with 3 weeks use prednisolone) accurate ?

What does that mean? There is a big difference between an eye doctor and a Medical Doctor who is specifically trained in the eye, the body and surgery=Ophthalmologist. You need to maek sure to see an ophthalmologist...and this is not to say optometrists are no good, trust me I employ an optometrist and she's fantastic. Retinits...it sounds inflammatory. Probably has some form of Autoimmune Retinitis and not an infectious form of Retinitis.
