I have looked at other websites that tell me that period like cramps are an early sign of pregnancy and i am quite worried as i have never experienced period like cramps without a period before. I doubt my period will come (if it does) untill i am due next week because my periods are always regular. I do not have anyother symptoms.
I'm still having cramps, but they're definitely mild. Still, when you feel cramps that FEEL like menstrual cramps, you kind of freak out. I'm trying to stay positive and not think about it, but it's hard. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TEST LWITTE! I'll be praying for you this week! Let us know how it goes!
I got my three days ago and am still having bad cramps as well. I agree w/ the poster who said it is more like labor pains then menstrual cramps. ugghh I am so frustrated I tried going for a walk today and the contractions (for lack of a better term) got so bad I had to stop. And umm, brooklynn86 I had sex last night and I do believe it made my cramping/back pain worse today.?? I wouldn't recommend it until the cramping at least lessens.
All the terms and names used for cysts that I have seen on here have confused me. Can anyone tell me the difference between a fibroid, dermoid, endo, etc. And can they even really tell which one you have until they go in? Is a fibroid similar to a endometrioma? Dermoid has hair and stuff can they tell that from an U/S? What cyst can they tell for sure? And can you have more than one kind of cyst? Any kind of info would be great.
In late January my urea nitrogen (BUN) was 11. Between 7-25 mg/DL is normal so it was not noted. By early March it had gone down to 6. Within two months, my iron level dropped 30%, and my iron saturation dropped by more than 15%, so SOMETHING is going on somewhere. My doctor wanted me to see a gastro-intestinologist and get 'scoped', but I do not have medical coverage or the money to pay for these tests, so he kindly put me on Aciphex for three weeks...
and now my period is a no show but im having some cramps. i would say im having symptoms of pregnancy but i get like that when my menstrual is coming so i wouldnt be abel to telll the difference between the two. im waiting to take a HPT. any advice comments or suggestions will be great thanks....
Could it be too early to be feeling nauseated if I am pregnant? Did anyone else get this as early as 2 weeks or and I just insane? Thanks!
It was a deeper cramp than with normal menstrual cramps. But, the bad news I also feel what seems to be menstrual cramps. Maybe three today. So I'm at a total loss. I have no idea if this is working or not. This my second time. Last time I transferred two embryos. My RE thought it would work, because the embies were in such good shape. But no, here I am a second time around. This two week wait is torture, but not as bad as the first time.
I cried so much and felt terrible and now am clinging onto hope that it was too early. My cramps are still there not as bad though, the doc advised I could take painkillers but I didn't. Its funny before you actually start trying to have children you really don't think this lies ahead of you. My condition is endometriosis on my ovaries.
The doctor told me that the pregnancy was either very early or that I was pregnant in my tubes. They then told me to come in two days later. I went in two days later and my count was 229. They then told me to come in two days later and when I came in my count is 1680. I asked my nurse why is the count jumping so fast. She told me it could be a chance of more than one baby. I want to know how true this is. can you guys help me on this matter.
This is my second pregnancy so I'll be able to give you a little insight. Early labor feels like menstrual cramps or Braxton hicks and within time gradually gets stronger.
It is not always easy to tell what is break through bleeding, or spotting between periods, and what is actually implantation spotting. The difference between period and implantation bleeding is that implantation bleeding occurs as a result of the embryo burrowing into your endometrium. However, because implantation spotting usually occurs right around the time you would be expecting your period, it is easy to mistake it for your period or as breakthrough bleeding.
About 10 mins after that the chest pain went away and I was totally drained. I left work early and took a 2 hour nap (lucky me...I don't have kids yet). I felt better but I still have to take something to help me fall asleep ever since then. I wonder when this racey feeling will go away. I'm 26 years old by the way. I'll be 27 next month.
My period came 10 days early this month, it seemed like a regular period.. only difference is I did not have any cramps! I usually have to take midol, or I cant function. It went away after 3 days. Now a week later, I noticed I've been spotting the last two days. Could I be pregnant??? Should I take a test?
Okie doke so today i have started getting really bad pain all down in my groin its soooo sore even to walk.. i have also been getting period type cramps on and off all day.. does this happen when the baby 'drops' i'm not quite sure how to tell if he has dropped but i dont think he had a growth spurt and i couldnt think of why else it would happen.. has me maybe dropped a little bit because im pretty sure i would prob be able to tell if he fully dropped... thank you in advance ladies!
i have endometriosis and i know the difference between cramps and these def arent menstrual cramps, although i have heard of some women getting menstrual cramps before they find they're pregnant. i know it still is early, but im just so impatient! if this cycle doesnt pan out, im thinking about taking a break from ttc.
I am 30 years old with two of my own children I think I know the difference between gas and baby movement. I know this is not "in my head" the only time i have ever felt anything like this has been when i am pregnant. I have tried to pretend its not happening but the movement is frequently through the day and very strong and extremely hard to ignore.
I know, I can't tell the difference between PMS and early pregnancy symptoms either. I was very bloated, eating less, nauseous and tired for the last two weeks, which I normally get one week before my AF, but not two weeks. I was 6 days late until yesterday I had a little light colored bleeding when I wiped, which lasted through out the day, but only when I wiped (so it was not flowing) and today not much at all.
I had a period the first month of my 2nd pregnancy. I don't believe that it is a "normal" period though. From research I have found that some bleeding(very similar to a period)can occur from implantation. It is normal and shouldn't be worried about. However, any bleeding that occurs during pregnancy should be reported to your OB/GYN immediately.
I am about 6 1/2 weeks and for the last week have had brown spotting and cramping on and off throughout the day...feels like menstrual cramping. I am nervous that somehing could be wrong with this pregnancy also. I am wondering if anyone has also experienced this in a pregnancy after a D&E procedure??
beating strongly! I have had cramping with all of my pregnancies. This is normal, especially in early pregnancy. Also, when I miscarried, I started bleeding a few days prior, so it gave me some warning. Please wait it out. This may not be a miscarriage.
The area between the vagina and the anus, the pubic area and the upper part of my inner thighs are significantly darker than the rest of my skin (is very embarrassing). I am a white Latin woman and I do not use oral contraceptives. I shave the vaginal and rectum area about 2 to 3 times a months. Could the shaving be the cause of the darkening? If so which is the best alternative to shaving? I do not seem to have any kind of irritation.
I took two home pregnancy tests when it came up positive I went to the hospital because I freaked. Well I'm pregnant. The problem is it is to early to tell is it is a tubal pregnancy or not. So I wait.
Also they say a lot of stress and worrying about pregnancy is not good. Thats why so many ppl have unexpected pregnancy they weren't making it a job. It will happen just be patient and have faith. I'm trying to but its so hard and I know. So her lately me and dh have just been doing other things to get out mind off of it!! Also got a ? though... About 1 year ago I began having pain in my right upper arm, between the shoulder and elbow, about mid arm where the biceps brachii muscle or brachialis muscle is. I went to my Primary Physician who said it was a torn brachialis muscle. Since I was working at a 2nd job, I thought it might be job related so I went through the whole Workman's Comp issue. They sent me to 4 doctors who did nothing for me, finally the case was settled and my lawyer got most of the money, but I still have the pain.
a blood test can detect a pregnancy as early as 5 days after ovulation. basically because it once you ovulate and the sperm and egg meet it takes about 5 days for the egg to implant itself and that is when the hcg hormone starts being produced. that being said....if you ovulated late it is possible that the blood test could have been wrong it just depends on when you ovulated. however after 11 years (i'm betting) it is unlikely that your tubes came untied.
But i did have cramps very similar to the HSG (rather painful) of and on for 3 weeks. I thought my period was comming but never did :) Currently 12weeks pregnant.
Hi. It's great to read that so many of you have the same condition and can offer each other support! There are so many success stories here! I don't have two uteri, but I had an HSG last week & just found out that I have a T-shaped uterus. We were set to start iui this week, but because it carries a risk of twins, we can no longer go that route.
I am looking for more info on pregnancy after an endometrial ablation. I had an ablation in May 2002. January 2003 I was not feeling well and went to the family doctor. She thought it may be an ectopic pregnancy since I was told I was sterile. I had an ultrasound to discover it was an interuterine pregnancy and I was about 9 weeks. I am now 17 weeks and for the past month trying to decide to terminate or continue.
With my first child I took one of those stupid early pregnancy tests (the ones you can take 3 days before your missed period) and it came up negative. I then took one at my Obgyn's office the day my period was supposed to start and it was negative. My doctor advised me to wait 3 days and to test again. I did and it was finally positive. The one thing I noticed when I finally tested postive was that there was a noticable difference in the way my urine smelled.
