I have had two epideral injections done 1 between c7 and t1 and another between t1-t2. On the test this Dr.uses are very advanced and expensive. He told me they can tell the difference between oxycontin and oxycodone on these tests.Thats why he has discharged me. Stated I was selling my meds. because I was neg. for oxycodone. Just makes me so upset he is such jerk. He honeslty believes he is better then anyone. Just an arrogant you know what.He knows it all. I will repeat, I do not quite understand why your doctor did not use riba this last attempt and I do not quite agree with their statement about no difference between genotype 1A and 1-B response. Please make sure and double check the doctors recommendations against various responses on this forum before your next TX. maybe, and this is just my thoughts, your dr made an even switch, for lack of better words…’even’ meaning here take this stronger medicine at 5mg…one every 4 hrs and see if that makes a difference or helps) I don’t think he meant take 2 every 4 hrs (I know the label say 1 or 2) b/c he should know that u would run couple weeks short….unless he wanted u to try 1 at first and if not helping then take 2…but make sure u call for an appt if u find 1 was working..so u took 2 and will need to call.
Check with the MFG of your prescriptions,,,,I can pretty much guarantee that unless you are independently wealthy, or are dying, you are getting synthetic chemicals for pain. This was how the difference between opiate, and opioid was explained to me.
