At Walgreens, we currently carry the Barr manufacturer brand of generic 
I'm on Adderall 10 mg tab (not XR) 2x daily for my ADHD but it seems really weak, especially in the morning. I'm also taking generic Zoloft at 75 mg a day in the morning with breakfast simultaneously with the Adderall. Also, I've been on Adderall before without Zoloft and it seemed to be more effective, though I was on a 15mg morning regimen.When I take the Adderall in the morning with I barely feel a difference, except a very minor dry mouth.
I also do not know if there is much difference in the original, and the generic form. I may have felt just as well on the generic. I do know that because I have been well on Effexor in the past, I am relieved I am on it now.
Under normal use I do not see any way your body could be processing food faster than it can process the nutrients, as there is a difference between your body taking what it needs and your body taking every single last bit it can out. I am not a doctor, this is just what I have found out from my experiences, so if you are worried just take a trip to see your doctor, it is not gonna hurt to play it safe.
I am currently taking 225 mg of wellbutrin and 90 mg of Adderall xr. I have built tolerance I believe to the Adderall and it stopped working at that dose. I have tried several psychiatrists to help me address this issue to no avail. I have tried other medications for add but this one is the one that my body adjusts to better. Unfortunately, as you know this dose is high , and I haven't had any luck getting a doctor who could increase a bit or give me another solution.
The difference is that while the Xanax really helps for the anxiety, it is not treating the cause of the anxiety. That is what the adderall is doing. Of course, not positive on that - but anxiety is a very strong co-disorder of adhd. And, I feel it is even stronger in adult undiagnosed adhd. So if you are now treating the possible cause of your anxiety - then that is good. And, I have seen this reported many times with adults.
Hey, I was prescribed generic 10mg Adderall 1x per day by my psych, but when I tried it I felt slightly dizzy with ear stuffiness (the type when you fly on airplanes) accompanied by sharp, inner ear pain (in both ears). This lasted about 1.5 months.

A friend of mine is prescribed to Adderall 20mg XR, as am I. After a few weeks she felt as if the drug was not working. She opened one of her capsules and found that it looked as if it was sugar inside, as well as tasted like sugar. She did so for 5 capsules and they all contained the same sugar-like substance. It looked completely different from the medicine which a few of her other adderall 20 mg XR capsules in her prescription consisted of.
Describe to him the difference between the first week and the last week. It does sound like your body is getting used to the med and you should try a higher dose.
Docs usually start a person off on a low dose and wait to see how they react.
IVE BEEN takeing 150mgs of adderall xr or 5 30mg tabs a day for over 2 years. i have a tolerance too. my meds are prescribed monthly and legally, i guess what im trying to say is the feeling always becomes normal no matter what the doseage. everything out there for adhd is always going to let u down over time. If it was me ID TRY to get off them before you build up to a level and dependancy like mine.
i started taking the generic for adderall 3 d/ ago and i have a sore throat and my tongue is a bit swollen and i developed these lesions.. one on each side of my tongue and its very irritating and a little painful. at the dentist yesterday they told me its wasn't an infection but they thought it was a side effect from unknowingly clenching my teeth, and rubbing against my tongue due to the adderall.
I heard that the vyvance takes 2-7 days to come out your system to pass a dt, but the adderall only takes 2-4 days to come out to pass a dt. Now why are they different if they are both for ADHD? I don't really understand. I've taken both and the adderall in my opinion is a lot better for me! It calms me, but give me energy. Weird but, true. Lol! And the vyvance doesn't help at all in my opinion!
There definately is a difference between Ritalin and Adderall. Adderall is stronger. For instance, if a person is on 30mg of Adderall and wants to switch to Ritalin,..you will need aprox. 50 to 60mg of Ritalin to be equivelant to the 30mg of Adderall. I am on 60mg of Adderall daily. I wanted to try Ritalin again just for the heck of it. I have shown proof from reliable sources, to my Doc that he needs to give me MORE than 60mg Ritalin for it to be effective as 60mg Adderrall.
