880023 tn?1241744504 Whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, low-fat dairy, lean proteins. Ditch the chips, soda, processed foods, etc. And drink milk and water. Juice can be full of unnecessary sugar, unless it is 100% fruit juice (NOT from concentrate and without corn syrup). I like OJ a lot but I buy the real stuff, not Sunny Delight. There are some things to steer clear from: raw, undercooked and unpasteurized foods, deli meat, some seafood, etc.
432737 tn?1358549432 My baby books say you can start giving your bub juice right about now, diluted with water. I got Jack some cups made for 4 months + and got him some organic apple juice. I diluted it like the books said and gave it a whirl. Jack seemed to really enjoy it, but had a heck of a time with that cup! He was sucking the sippy like a bottle nipple and it was sort of a disaster! I only gave it one shot yesterday. Figured he wasn't ready yet and gave up. Anyone else offering juice to their baby?

It also contains vitamins like vitamin B, riboflavin and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium as well as proteins and carbohydrates. Lemon is generally consumed in the form of lemon juice or lemon water.
Avatar f tn What I have been doing and it has helped a bunch so far is NOT drinking tap water and only drinking bottled water. This spring, I passed 3 years without having a stone, which for me is great! I used to get one or more a year. I also started taking a medication called FloMax prescribed for me by the VA Urologist and it seems to be working great, in conjunction with the bottled water. There is a generic brand for FloMax that is cheaper too.
Avatar f tn You can get a personal trainer and tell them you need to lose weight or you could get a new job. You cannot lose 20 lbs in a month by drinking vinegar and lemon juice. You might lose a lot of water at first, but you're not going to lose any fat. You're also going to screw up your body really bad. If you read some of the posts on here, these are not issues you want to have.
Avatar f tn Never heard but anything is worth a try. It won't hurt you. I found those therms are things that are sticky and you can put thenm on your body worked good. I bought the generic ones too. Still do. I have bad RLS with pain from before the pills and I put one of those on and it helps a lot. At least for me.

400610 tn?1201703516 If you add a little to the water, you might want to just have your one cup of juice a day divided this way. Water is the #1 best thing to drink. Diet pop is the absolute worst. Even regular pop and alcohol aren't as bad. So just stay away from the diet pop. People think it's okay because it has zero calories, but the sugars and whatever else they put in it are really bad for you. Water will help flush out toxins, lose weight, and reduce overeating.

Im struggling in placing the idle diet although I consume daily orange juice and chocolate milkshakes& bars my doc says that it okay..but every morning i get nausea and get frequent dirrehea..Is it okay to consume water after meals or does it disturb the stomach in terms of acidity and all that?..

Avatar m tn Yes, replacing junk with water will help you lose weight. Join a gym, work out. Or join a walking/running club. Running sheds lbs faster than anything I can think of. The only other thing is surgery, and it's expensive. My answer is exercise and diet.
Avatar f tn Ugh I can't wait to drink diet soda again! Now I drink apple juice, water, yoohoo's (lol) soda that's not diet and that's pretty much it. You can buy stuff to make your water flavored if you're into that, I'm not really. There's milk also if you like milk!

Avatar n tn for example i will have an egg sandwich with oj+celery for breakfast, an orange or grapefruit for lunch and the egg sandwich with oj + celery for dinner. 2 liters of water for the day. i can maintain that diet for about a week, then i will break it , the temptations of sweets , plus positive or negative events get me wanting sodas and sweets. then my will power will get low and it takes months to regain and start the diet. what should i be studying that will help stay on a diet?
280369 tn?1316702041 Today...I was able to drink half water and half juice...sometimes it was 3/4 water and 1/4 juice. Is this okay until I feel better with the nausea and vomitting? I definitely don't want too much sugar in my system, but this seems to be the only way to get liquids down right now. I wasn't able to eat much today, so I tried to drink a lot...I didn't get as much as I wanted down, but I did better than yesterday. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Avatar f tn I would change the juice to water, and maybe add a kiwifruit a day, and just add plenty of grains to your diet, whole grain bread etc,your probably already doing that, also pear juice is great, the pregnancy hormones relax your intestines and colon so thats why you get constipated easier in pregnancy :)
