Avatar f tn Thanks. I just wanted one diet root beer because I am dying for root beer lol.
Avatar f tn Diet and decaf are the worse no matter if you're pregnant or not. I like fizzy drinks so it doesn't have to be soda. Maybe find a different alternative?
1536593 tn?1292557199 I get severe head aches when I drink Diet Soda, off brand or not, could it be an intolerance to the artificial sweetener or an allergy?
Avatar f tn Ok, so I cut regular soda out of my diet. I normally drink water, diet can iced tea (or fresh) and seltzer. Now my question is.... is diet soda OK in moderation? Like when me and my bf go to a mall, water gets so boring and the fast food places generally never have seltzer water. So therefore I'm forced with diet soda (YUCK). Is it ok just on the weekends? I mean I guess I'm doing something right, I've lost 30.5bs since 9/14 (not even 3 months yet) and still have another 12.
72351 tn?1281992542 Those are great times to indulge yourself with some of that regular soda, if you have a craving for it. And for those other times, there are some great diet sodas out there. Good luck. It sounds like you are doing a great job!
5913031 tn?1382391190 Diet soda... Not sure about. Any diet soda is bad for you period whether pregnant or not. Research shows it can cause cancer. Also contains aspartame which is a form of rat poison, anyway. Soda is alright during pregnancy here and there... As long as you don't consume for then 200mg.
Avatar m tn Surprisingly, from Fox (lol), it WAS a good read. Think it was a very honest summary of what both sides got out of it.
589143 tn?1291498173 My OBGYN said 2-3 caffeine drinks/day. Some days I don't have any, but for the most part I'll get headaches if I don't have any. I try and drink caffeine-free diet soda when at home and work, only drinking caffeinated diet soda when out to eat. But I also treat myself to 2 starbucks frappucino's a week because sometime I need one to get me going in the morning. I think 1 2liter sounds like too much, but I would listen to what your doctor has to say.
Avatar f tn I wouldn't drink any. Soda and diet soda is bad for you whether you are pregnant or not.
Avatar f tn Skip the coke, Mountain Dew or anything with caffeine as much as possible. No artificial sweeteners, they aren't good for the baby. (No diet pop.) Too much sugar isn't good for the baby either, so try to mix in sips of unsweetened tea or chew on ice now and then (you can get ice pops or freeze juices or soup broth in ice cube trays). Peppermint, ginger and lemon are all natural anti-nausea ingredients to look for in teas, and they are all caffeine-free and safe for pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Can drinking diet soda and using Equal in my coffee cause anxiety to get worse? I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression over a year ago. Neurontin helped the anxiety in the beginning but increasing the dose has not helped anymore. My doctor gave me Klonopin to use as needed and I only take 1/2 pill when I need to because a whole pill makes me way too sleepy. I drink 2 cups of coffee a day, but only at work, so 5 days a week. I also drink about 1 diet pepsi a day, every day.
Avatar n tn I'm a 25 yr old American female living in Italy. I went to the doctor this morning after 8 days of severe diarrhea, lower abdominal cramping, bloody stools, off and on fever, and weakness. I've lost 15 pounds over the past week and a half. The doctor didnt touch me or seem worried about my symptoms. After prescribing me a pill to stop diarrhea and another to fight bacterial infections in the intestines I was on my way.
Avatar f tn If your worried about it dont drink it,diet cokes really not good even not being preggers
Avatar n tn I'm no expert...in fact I'm only posting here because I posted earlier with a similar scenario. I'm 20, male, 6'1" and 195 lbs. From the age of 15 or 16 I've had the morning sickness you're describing here. I've been to two doctors about it and here's the advice I was given: Doctor 1: "drink lots of water, cut soda out of your diet, get on a more rigid sleep schedule and try to make a habit of eating breakfast.
Avatar f tn I LOVE high fructose corn syrup!!
7366593 tn?1400009626 I havent drank diet soda my whole pregnancy...I just wanted to know if I could have one cup on diet coke? Im 37 almost 38 weeks pregnant.
Avatar f tn If you want caffeine without the soda, switch to tea or coffee, but watch the sugar you put in it. I have heard diet soda isn't great either because of the carbonation, but it at least has less calories than regular. I think we are supposed to have 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, that would be 8 ounces in a glass.
