4628530 tn?1369109086 Hi! So I've done a lot of juicing and have changed my diet somewhat, and have been reading about anti-inflammatory foods. I learned that the paleo diet excludes many of these foods, but am not sure because of all the red meat. I'm all out of ideas, hungry, and breastfeeding. For those of you that have found some relief by changing your diet, what do your typical meals look like ( breakfast, lunch, dinner)? Any good recipes?

Avatar f tn For the past 2 weeks I have been following an anti inflammatory diet. I was eating granola with coconut and chia seeds with a tiny bit of milk (hormone free) and fresh fruits for breakfast. Then for lunch I would eat salad with a piece of baked chicken. I would eat the same for dinner too. I bought some organic free range chicken tenders, seasoned it then baked it and used that throughout the week.

804966 tn?1261895278 Reduce your consumption of fatty meats and exchange for lean meats, fish, and chicken. Try adding beans and legumes to your diet. Add vegetables and look for delicious ways to cook them. Try the Healthy Cooking forum here on MedHelp for some great recipes. Use canola oil and olive oil and reduce your use of butter and other oils. For exercising, just give simple walking a try. It is amazing what a difference just that can make. Good luck and welcome to the forum!
1277082 tn?1344057820 t really have any actual recipes but I do have advice for you in which it should probably help you out. For us with PCOS, it makes our bodies harder to digest simple carbs (i.e. pasta, breads, rice). So because of this, this is why we gain weight and this is why it takes so long to come off. My suggestions are as follows: Bread: whole grain, high fiber. Anything high fiber (yes it is more calories) works to your advantage, because it will make your body feel more full...
973741 tn?1342342773 I went through a period some years ago, during which my doctor had me drinking protein shakes for breakfast, then, at least one more during the day. No - when I really started researching ingredients, I found it had tons of sugar in it, so no wonder I gained weight on it.
