I am 6 weeks I was taking diet pills for two weeks not knowing I was pregnant will it hurt the baby?

I'm 20 year old girl, weigh 132 pounds, and i'm 5'6. I exercise (cardio and lifting light weights) about 2-4 times a week, depending on my schedule. I want to weigh 125 pounds and have been thinking about taking diet pills to help because I can't seem to lose more weight. Is it a safe idea? I've heard rumors of girls my age taking diet pills, and later on in life are overweight and can't lose the weight because they ruined their metabolism. Is this true?

Diet pills won't work by themselves - you will need to eat sensibly and moderate exercise. In addition, most often any weight lost with diet pills usually comes back once you go off them. You will need to make changes that will sustain you over the long haul. Would love to see you take twehner5's advice and check out some of the journals and posts from others who have been successful. And don't let her fool you, twehner5 has done quite well for herself too.

i am currently taking 2mg of xanax 2x a day i also take 30 mg oxycodone 4x a day my dr retired no new dr will write both meds i am having xanax withdrawal.

i've been using this alli diet pills since july and i've lost 10+ lbs. i'm really bad when it comes to dieting. i dont eat right and dont excerise because i'm either bored or too tired. i went to the docs and they weighed me at 151lbs in june. and in late aug i bought a scale and it said i was 141lb. woohoo! it's now oct i losted 3 1/2 inches total. i dont know how much i weigh now cause i returned the scale. :-( but to the people who are lazy like me ;-) this pill works.

Diet pills only cause you to lose water weight. Your best bet is to eat healthy and exercise which should not cause any issues with tic.

2 month ago I asked my doctor to reduce the lexapro because I was totally happy and over the depression. I went down to 5mg and I also took some diet pills 2 months after reducing the dose and the combination of these pushed my over the edge and the depression is back. my doctor increased the dose to 20mg of lexapro ans .75 xanax when necessary .

m just not a big fan of any anti-psychotic drugs for depression and anxiety) I had my Psych prescribe me a strong Tri-cyclic and 900Mgs a day of Lithium then added Klonopin for the anxiety. (I used to take Xanax, but the half life was way too short with Xanax so I went Klonopin instead) It was a good move because 2Mgs of Klonopin controls my anxiety way better than Xanax.

Im on so many medications..xanax for anxxiety.hormones,thyroid meds and most recently phentermine for weight loss.....plus some herbs.I want to quit the vicodin.Oh Im also on wellbutrin sr but am tapering off.Some days its like I just dont care about anything.I dont want to lose my husband and home.Please any ideas of how i can kick these pills out of my life> Thanks so Much!

I think it is the right choice not to take Xanax. I have seen post of people withdrawing from a xanax addiction. Maybe thoses on here that were helped by a short period of them could tell you. I never had one. I did have a small amt. of valium and ambien the first few days.

) I thought that was cool because it was true and it was nice for someone to acknowledge the change in me. His comment also reminded me how nuts those pills made me. Even thought I told myself they made me high when I took them, they really just caused me to become mean and annoyed towards everything and everyone. Something I didn't consider before was how this addiction has affected those around me, especially those who had no idea i was on anything.
