Avatar n tn I don't think diet pills are ever called for. I don't know how long you've been on thyroid med, but many people begin to lose weight after they get on med and get stabilized. While you may lose weight with diet pills, it's very seldom a "lasting" thing, because, for many/most people, they gain the weight back as soon as they go off the diet pills; however, keep in mind that many diet pills don't work at all, or only if you restrict your diet too much.
Avatar f tn Liver damage, kidney damage, diabeties, nasal sprays, diet pills, barbituates(florecet etc) can all give false positives for amphetamines not to mention the accuracy rate for drug testing in cheap testing is about 50% if not done in a good lab. Many labs that get false positives send the urine out to a specialist lab to re-test the urine and many times it is reversed.
Avatar n tn I am 6 weeks I was taking diet pills for two weeks not knowing I was pregnant will it hurt the baby?
764218 tn?1234569759 I'm 20 year old girl, weigh 132 pounds, and i'm 5'6. I exercise (cardio and lifting light weights) about 2-4 times a week, depending on my schedule. I want to weigh 125 pounds and have been thinking about taking diet pills to help because I can't seem to lose more weight. Is it a safe idea? I've heard rumors of girls my age taking diet pills, and later on in life are overweight and can't lose the weight because they ruined their metabolism. Is this true?
Avatar f tn im 15 and i bought the diet pills liposlim not to be confused wit liposien and noware on the box does it say that people under 18 cant use the pills and i was wondering if its safe to use it?
Avatar f tn Diet pills won't work by themselves - you will need to eat sensibly and moderate exercise. In addition, most often any weight lost with diet pills usually comes back once you go off them. You will need to make changes that will sustain you over the long haul. Would love to see you take twehner5's advice and check out some of the journals and posts from others who have been successful. And don't let her fool you, twehner5 has done quite well for herself too.
Avatar n tn I am very addicted to phentermine (diet pills). How long does withdrawal take? Can I taper? Must I be hospitalized?
Avatar n tn t hydroxycut contain ephedra? If so, I believe that ephedra does not mix well with Thyroid medications. Sorry but I haven't heard very positive feedback about Hydroxycut, and it is one of those stimulants, where after taking for a while, if you "deviate" even a little from your diet, the lbs come back very quickly. I know this because I've seen this happen to two of my friends, who cautioned me against using it.
Avatar m tn Look at how many people lost weight with ephedra, only to find out, after it had been on the market for years. that it was very likely to cause fatal heart attack.
4451049 tn?1387153437 Feel like the more medications and antibiotics I take, the worse I feel- like I'm going backwards with treatment. Not the definition of a herx in that it's not necessarily a worsening of my symptoms nor does it let up. Actually, it tends to get worse the longer I am on a particular medication. For once in a lifetime I am following the advice of a doctor, but I am just not sure about all this. I'm the one suffering, not the doc.
4451049 tn?1387153437 What exactly are people eating on a non gluten diet? It seems like everything worth eating or drinking has gluten in it, so I was just curious.
4451049 tn?1387153437 So other than this CD57, my labs look perfect! Of course they do! I'm not an alcoholic or a drug addict, I don't pop pills, I'm not old, I don't smoke anything either! Otherwise, I wouldn't need labs because I'd be feeling real good. I'm sure I'm beginning to look like quite a fool. LOL! Oh well! I don't have many indicators for Lyme disease says the DR. My CD57 is really low, while my other immune test came back fine.
4451049 tn?1387153437 Anyone have any testing through Medical Diagnostics? They are much cheaper than IGenex and may even bill insurance, but how accurate are they?? Anyone have a clue? Thanks!
994257 tn?1266242692 t recommend taking diet pills while on meds. Whether they use guarana or ephedra or caffeine, they usually use something to ramp up your metabolism and I think that will play h#ll with meds. If I were you, I'd just stick to a good exercise plan (which is beneficial for people with BP in particular) and cut back a little on calories.
4451049 tn?1387153437 Is it at all possible to tell by looking at the western blot results how long one has been infected?? I don't think it is, but I just thought that I'd ask..... If I was highly CDC + on the IgM but almost completely negative on the IgG (even by IGenex standards), does this have any meaning?? Like a new or quite possibly even a reinfection? Or is this just completely meaningless? I'd appreciate any thoughts!
