is it because of the winter solstice that the moon is closer? Or just because of the way the earth is tilted during the winter months? I've never heard the full moon thing ... but it would be kinda neat. I *did* have a dream last night my water broke (tho I was already in labor at the hospital getting ready to do some walking). Maybe the full moon will work! I still have a few weeks to go tho ...so I'm not holding out.

DO YOU FEEL DIFFERENT AT THE TIME OF A FULL MOON?

There actually is a scientific reason behind the moon and women going into labor. Most of the time going into labor can happen right before the full moon or right after. My water broke with my most recent little one right after a full moon. My midwife actually got out her calendar and said, "There's a full moon in a couple of days so we'll see what happens in the next week!" LOL! And I did have my baby. I was 3 days overdue.

I have found that I can't even think of any soda, whether they are regular or diet. They all make me feel lousy. Diet sodas are worse. And, they taste like chemicals, too. I have to spend time squeezing it to get some kind of pus out of a hole in the skin. Quite painful, but right after it feels a lot better and the swelling goes down. I'm not entirely sure what it is, I think its cartilage or something like it. Its visible just under the skin, moves easily, but doesn't cause any pain. I used to have 2 of the lumps years ago, but when I was young I somehow managed to push one out, still have a hole in the skin there.

I regret reading all the stuff about the moon eating your baby, the red shirt, etc.. I don't believe in that but when I started to read in here I kinda went to be freaking out and scared for my baby! Had nightmares about it and all night on my own sleep I was thinking about it, in fact I'm up cause I just can't sleep anymore. Ftm and I am easy to scare.. anyway have a great day everybody!

After my recent diagnosis of cirrhosis and steatosis I am really seriously considering changing my diet with the intention of lightening the load on my liver.It would be good to be able to lower my inflamation a little. I'm wondering if anyone on the forum has changed to say vegetarian and if so whether they have seen any signs of improvement.

Did you taper off the fats slowly? Or change your diet drastically? Perhaps for the next day or so, maybe a bland diet would help. Sounds like you have a great friend there!
