When you record you diet along side your blood sugar, you will be able to begin to see trends of when your blood sugar is controlled and when it is elevated. This will help you manage your diet to keep your sugars from spiking. It is time consuming, but so important to help you manage your diabetes. Please continue to monitor your blood sugar.

My doctor said I can do it by the end of this month, but I am a bit nervous because I don't know how to go about doing this. I know I'm not supposed to bring them all back at once but do I just eat a trigger food then wait a few days? I don't get it. I am concerned that if I even eat one trigger food, my esophagus will swell up again.
Avatar m tn Heart Healthy diet which is a moderate fat diet and a moderate fat diet means = using polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.

I keep a journal each day (yes, it's a diary for men :) ) and I rank my level of anxiety from 0 to 10, whereas 0 is awesome, 1 is daily anxiety (normal) and 8 is panic attack, 9 is severe panic attack, and 10 being health issues and/or passing out. Well, surprisingly, I had been at a 0 for most of 2 months now, even though I usually suffer from SAD. Today I was in a meeting at work and I got up to about a 6 and then I went home and on my way home I hit an 8!

On My MedHelp, on the Journals panel, you should see a link that says, Write a new journal entry. If you click that, you should see a form that has text boxes for Title, Journal Entry and Tags. Do you see that?

Avatar f tn I would go to a bland diet and add things in slowly to see what effect different items have. You can journal it. Then you will be left with a safe diet of foods. Fiber in particular can be tricky for flatulence. Be careful with all fiber foods and introduce slowly such as nuts, legumes, breads, cereals, vegetables with higher fiber, etc. Stick to smaller portions too of all meals even if you have to eat more frequently. And as purple stated, lower fat foods are better.

Some notes: With the plug-in (also called an "add-in" and going by the name ieSpell) there is no limitation I know of (and none appearing on the developer's web site) to Internet Explorer 7 only. Originally released in March of 2002, it should work with practically ANY version of Internet Explorer.

Avatar n tn 1 and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on Feb. 5th. I have an ultra touch 2 monitor for her. I did notice that they have a software for it in which I can download and monitor her levels, etc. I also have noticed that there is a diabetes pilot software in which I can get for my desktop and pda. I like the fact that the diabetes pilot has a list of foods (carbs, etc.) that you can enter for reference and can be used on my pda.

For that time I also did fitness and swimming. It took me 6 months to get rid of my extra weight, and bear in mind, that were only 22 lbs, meaning they were not too much. If you want to lose weight being 100% sure no side effects would occur, then you should be prepared for a long weight loss process.
751951 tn?1406632863 I picked up a disc with some CT scans and ultrasound images today, and noticed that the autorun software included was called "eFilm Lite", by Merge Software, (IIRC). . It was the same program, though a slightly different version, that was on the disc I received from the MRI center about 3 weeks ago (Version 2.0.0 vs. 2.1.1). That one wouldn't run on either of my home computers; I've yet to try the one I received today.
Avatar n tn Oh well, the advantage to all this is when the software finally wears out, you can happily get sloppy with your own typing and continue to blame the software. Or … it raises the question of whether you actually have software, and you’ve been bluffing the whole time :o)!
Avatar f tn Yes, a fast heart rate due to anxiety can cause n abnormal EKG. Also, diet, medication, alcohol, drugs, electrolyte imbalance, etc. The EKG output anaylsis requires consideration which lead (12 leads) and other waveform correlationship, etc. A doctor (radiologist) requires specific training in electrophysiology and does not rely on EKG software to make a diatgnosis.
Avatar f tn I have thought about my diet too becasue I drink diet pop on a daily basis and I like salt and my cheese so I have considered that some of it could maybe be diet but for sure my nerves are way overactive. I will get a journal set up and go from there.
