I'm so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital. It's such an awful place to be. The secretin test is probably just an MRI where they inject Secretin into your IV and watch the effect on film. As far as I know, it doesn't hurt at all. The upper endoscopy is also pretty easy. The worst of it is the spray they use to freeze your throat. It is disgusting beyond all description. Take as much as you can handle the first time.
We are having a hard time with our 9 year old lab’s diet. To start, she has a pretty serious food allergy – we think it is gluten or wheat. For the past 2 years, she has been on Cyclosporine and Ketaconazole and it has controlled her itching, scratching and yeast buildup. Unfortunately, it has contributed to her kidney problems. She has quickly moved to Stage 3 kidney disease. We originally attributed her failing kidney function to her food.

I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.
I saw on an earlier post that a high protein low starch (anti-cancer) diet was recommended and Aleda Cheng indicated that she would post the diet if wanted. The person did not request the diet, but I would be very interested in the diet. Does anyone have any information on this diet? I know the prognosis for my dog is not good, so any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Everything that I eat gives me indigestion, and I'm hungry all the time and don't know what to buy because I've never been a good diet person besides Diet Coke and I gave that up. I've tried looking on YouTube for good meals to cook but with school and work I dont have much time for cooking gourmet. If anyone has any good ideas for fast "cheaper" meals I would greatly appreciate it!

Diet pills don't work unless you change lifestyle. That be to eat healthier. Healthy nutrition should be the main goal, not weightloss. By focusing on that, we could all save us some problems.
My answer is: Diet pills are all about the money. 30-day trials work but only because the initial weightloss experienced are fluids. The safest way to loose weight is to add some physical activity to the day (3 work-out sessions over a week's time) and to get steady on meals. So....

I have had a pain behind my Heart it feel like it's in my back, and it's not a sharp pain it's a dulling pain that happens with the random of movements. I played basketball a month ago and that's when the weird dullness starter. That's my first question. I had an EKG done a couple months ago and everything was fine, that's why I don't think it has to do with my heart.

Have tried at least 6 different foods - Science Diet, Hills, Nutro, Purina (which she was raised on for at least 6 months before this intense itching), Wolf---something. Have tried eliminating beef and chicken. No relief. On Nutro - salmon and potato ? Help! My pooch is itchy, and while I trust my vet, I think he is out of ideas.
im 15 and i bought the diet pills liposlim not to be confused wit liposien and noware on the box does it say that people under 18 cant use the pills and i was wondering if its safe to use it?
Since this began, i have put on more than 2 stone, at one point i had put on 4 stone and really struggled to shift the weight. Every diet failed to help me, then about 3 years ago, for no apparent rreason, i lost 3 stone in as many months and everyone was worried sick. I have since put on a stone, and my weight fluctuates between 8 and 9st 4. I have to keep clothes in 3 dress sizes to accomodate for the bloating and have seriously had enough.
