Avatar n tn fats you eat and stored fats in the adipose cells. I would suggest you - to read "The Obesity Code" by Dr. Jason Fung., or watch Dr. J. Fung on youtube, or google his name. -learn food combining rules -keep carbs under 20 carbs/day mainly from non starch veggies -get lots of sleep; be in bed by 10 pm= lower cortisol -don't stress yourself with fitness and workouts if you don't like it.
Avatar f tn Eat right, drink water, take vitamins, exercise, and sleep as much as you want. Listen to your body, making a little person takes a lot of energy! And remember its temporary. In fact, for most women the.extreme fatigue gets.

Avatar n tn I had good luck with the 17 Day Diet...one downfall...the lack of carbohydrates during the 1st phase really saps your energy.
Avatar m tn Eat the healthiest diet you can. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein. Healthy foods help keep you strong, give you more energy and support your immune system. If you're nauseated, try eating small meals throughout the day. Choose foods that are soothing and easy to digest, such as soups, broths or a plain baked potato. A registered dietitian can be especially helpful if you have weight loss or trouble eating.
Avatar m tn Protein drinks, gatorade, exercise - also really good for the energy issues - seems lack of energy and the insomnia linger on for a bit longer than the other withdrawal symptoms. But both will return eventually so keep the faith! And CONGRATS for the 20 days - FANTASTIC!!
4453126 tn?1354804362 How can I get my energy back? I am always so tired and need energy, what can I do?
Avatar f tn My doctor said more protien in your diet, it helps keep your energy levels up. Like when you eat you get a burst of glucose (sugars) and have some energy that gets used up but protien helps maintain that energy.

Avatar f tn I also drink a v8 energy juice beverage in the afternoon to help with my second wind. This is what works for me, maybe it can work for you?
Avatar n tn Complex carbs burn more slowly and provide a long-lasting energy and provide us with our most important nutrients. High protein diets are a current fad, and some of them might one day prove out -- we just have to see what happens when we have a lot of years of people eating this way and see what happens to them.
Avatar f tn I went to the gym for sauna and swim. Low impact and good exercise. While in the sauna, and a couple hours after, I had no pain anywhere. I just needed that break. Then, floating in the water hurt my skin at first, but it felt really good to move around without gravity bringing me down. It became a little easier each time. I had Restless Everything, arms, legs, torso, brain, and the bottom of my feet hurt, but it went away. Day 5, sweet, you have this.
Avatar f tn If your not feeling full try eating slower and introduce more carb base food to your diet trust me it will help if you eat to fast it tricks your body into thinking that ur still humgry because of a hormone released by the stomach if u eat slower the hormone is stopped from being produced faster.
Avatar f tn pre pregnancy i was a workoutaholic. i worked out 5-7 days a week for 1-2 hours a day. i'd been like that since i was in high school. my swim coach made us workout and practice 6 days a week for 4-5 hours a day (needless to say i was in awesome shape then). but since having my twin boys i have zero energy. i know i need to work out. i WANT to work out but i just don't have the energy. i do watch what i eat. i don't eat nearly as much as i did when i was pregnant and i eat healthy.
1940497 tn?1323820706 Several times in the last few days I have suddenly lost all energy. Literally one minute fine the next I feel like a hit an energy wall. All I want to do is lay down and sleep. I can hardly walk, I even cannot think straight sometimes. It feels like I would expect a car engine gets when it suddenly does not get enough gas. Avatar f tn yes!! I'm in my early teens too. For a teen we definitely need more calories than that. We are considered to still be growing. I think you should have at least a 1300 calorie diet (or more) . its better, and don't forget you're going to exercise, so you're going to burn it off anyways.
Avatar f tn Diet and exercise! You need to cut all the simple carbs. from your diet and expend more calories than you consume. Check my journal and search for peak 8.
