Common Questions and Answers about Diet eating healthy

eating

Avatar f tn I have a special diet just because I have a condition called Eoe. I have no dairy, wheat or eggs in my diet. I'm doing fine, except it's harder to find quick things to eat when you're starving, since I don't really eat processed foods. I don't think it matters your diet, as long as your getting the nutrients you need. Take your vitamins.
Avatar m tn Eat the healthiest diet you can. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein. Healthy foods help keep you strong, give you more energy and support your immune system. If you're nauseated, try eating small meals throughout the day. Choose foods that are soothing and easy to digest, such as soups, broths or a plain baked potato. A registered dietitian can be especially helpful if you have weight loss or trouble eating.
Avatar n tn Look up "the full plate diet" it's really NOT a diet, but healthy eating. That's what I do, all it is, is a high fiber diet eating lots of whole grains (brown rice, wheat bread, oatmeal) fruits, vegetables and water.
Avatar f tn Eating Healthy diet does not ensure that you will lose weight. Your weight is a balance between the calories you take in and the calories you burn. You will lose weight if you burn off more calories than you take in, and you will gain weight if you eat more calories than you burn off.
Avatar n tn We don't really do diet plans, but you can do that via the Diet Diary app... it will help you figure out the number of calories you need/day, plus the amount of protein, carbs, fat, etc... Focus on lean protein, healthful fats, veggies...

Avatar f tn I am normally a very healthy person eating all natural no processed food. But since I got pregnant I don't want anything to do with vegetables or fruit. I want salty food and processed food, like pizza rolls and McDonald's. Anyone else doing this?
Avatar f tn what u ladies eating since u started getting pregnany, i want to make healthy choices this pregnancy! any suggestions?
Avatar n tn I need some suggestions on healthy eating throughout pregnancy.I have two kids but this pregnancy I'm really really wanting to be really healthy since I haven't lost baby weight from my second son seeing as he's only 5 months old.
Avatar f tn Is there any mom to be'sbe's who aren't eating healthy? Im 29 weeks pregnant and i just eat whatever i feel like eating, is that bad or should my baby be fine. Doctor said he's growing good.
Avatar f tn I'm so scared because I haven't really been eating very healthy , and i'm 12 wks , i'm going to start soon but I can't keep away fried foods is this a major problem???
Avatar f tn m not unhealthy but I want to start eating right so that I can remain healthy as I get older. I weigh around 116. What should I be eating to make sure my heart rate, blood pressure, and cholesterol are in excellent conditions? I would also like to avoid foods that lead to diabetes. I'm not familiar at all with eating properly, or a healthy diet. My last doctors visit was really good, all my stats were great, but I know I eat a lot of junk food.
1558264 tn?1294670521 If you are able to eat gluten, there are clinically no benefits your system will get from eating a gluten-free diet, despite what some may think. Trully, If there were clinical studies that proved the benefit of these diets, it would be all over the news and in the medical textbooks. But diets today are based on personal beleif, and if you beleive this is healthier for your body, then go for it! Good luck and best wishes.
1661682 tn?1313135396 Eating healthy is truly what is best for your baby. Just be sure you are eating enough and not depriving yourself or your baby of anything important while trying not to gain weight. Just eat lots of fruits and veggies and cut back on the junk. I also enjoyed taking walks while pregnant and it helped me keep my weight down with both of my pregnancies!
Avatar f tn m normally a very healthy eater and will have a variety of protein and vegetables daily. I know that eating healthy is the most important thing now than before as I'm expecting but I just can't seem to keep any of it down. Every time I eat anything remotely healthy I feel nautious all day. If I eat grilled cheese sandwiches, crackers, on and j I'm fine. What do I do? Am I hurting my baby?
959034 tn?1253671476 taking just a couple of bites of a healthy food is better than not eating at all. I find eating a larger breakfast does best for me - but that's not true for everyone. If I eat a large, healthy breakfast, I'm less hungry for other meals AND I have the advantage of using up the calories throughout the day............ I don't know what time you get up, go to bed or what your schedule during the day is.
Avatar n tn When it comes to the liver it is recommended to eat a moderate fat diet. Consuming a diet moderate in fat would help the liver with any disease. The less fat in our digestive system, the less the liver has to work to break it down. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats and no trans fats.
Avatar f tn I started eating healthy and it lasted a while. Im now 27 weeks and eating how I did before I got pregnant. All I crave is cherry poptarts and sweets so I limit myself but it still is all high calorie and does nothing for you. I will tell you I gained weight more quickly when I started eating junk again but total i have gained 19lbs.
Avatar f tn If you are over weight it is perfectly safe to diet while pregnant as long as you are getting the vitamines the baby needs. Remember the eating for two does not mean you take in enough for two people. It just means you eat healthy. I am 32 weeks and a small girl and i still do not eat more then i would regularly eat. I just make sure i eat often. And my weight is right on i have not gained too little or too much. I have a friend who is a bigger girl and her dr wanted her to gain 15 lbs max.
Avatar n tn Eating a low carb diet is the best option. Eat lean protien sources like fish, chicken, beef. For essential fats eat salmon, olive oil, almonds. the only carbs should come from fruit and vegetables. Drink only water not juice.
Avatar m tn Hi there, Eating too much fruit can complicate the amount of fructose in your body. This in turn can lead to over-production of fat which can be harmful for your health. Foods with the highest fructose content are peaches, prunes, pears, cherries, plums, apples and apple cider, grapes and dates. These fruits are hardest to digest and can cause fructose intolerance. Excessive fructose can lead to leptin resistance, which could cause weight gain if combined with a high fat and calorie diet.
Avatar f tn The key is to exercise enough to burn the amount of calories you are eating, or at least a good portion of them. For example, if you are eating 1400 calories per day, you should be exercising enough to burn at least 500 in order to start seeing a difference. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn I never really considered eating a specific type of food or a specific type of diet that makes your penis grow longer or have more potent sperm. I know in some countries that the rhinoceros' horn was highly prized for its sexual potential and making a man more potent and strong when the horn was ground up into a powder.
