Is diet coke safe during pregnancy? I've heard mix reviews.
With my first pregnancy I didn't know I was pregnant until the end and in between the beginning and finding out I was in school and to keep myself awake I was drinking monsters every morning. The daughter is 2 now and very intelligent and was born completely and totally healthy. That being said I still wouldn't recommend drinking monster every day. But I have drank a lot of coke with this pregnancy.
Diet or regular? I ask because I used to put sugar in my coffee and over time I found I was putting in more and more. I switched to artificial sweetner, and my use has stayed constant. If you're drinking regular coke, try switching to diet and see if that does the trick.
Ive been told 200g or ml which is about 6 cans of coke. I drink fizzy pop can after can as im addicted. Jus dont want to over do it and harm my baby. I drink cordial too trying to mix it up abit. How many cans you you say a day?
Everything that I eat gives me indigestion, and I'm hungry all the time and don't know what to buy because I've never been a good diet person besides Diet Coke and I gave that up. I had a glass of what should have been diet coke, but came from a tap rather than a can or bottle, at the end of the day from a local restaurant. It tasted very sweet!! That night I noticed some red marks around my waste, then on my chest and slowly moved over my body. They did not itch but stung. By the next morning I was covered in painfull large blotches all over, I had a temperature and felt unwell. I visited the doctor who recomended antihistamine pills.
Diet soda has aspertame in it which is a chemical that can cause cancer, my favorite soda is diet coke, but i try to only have 1 or 2 a week, and drink other caffeinated drinks that aren't diet so I dont get migraines from my caffeine addiction lol, I'm addicted to energy drinks but avoid them often while pregnant.

I know it is advised that during a pregnancy is not the time to diet or lose weight. I'm not necessarily interested in losing weight but this is my forth pregnancy and my last three ive gained 100+ pounds no matter how hard I tried not to. Ive lost it each time and right now I weigh 135 lbs. I'd like to take one oxy elite pro per day to keep my weight gain within the normal range for someone my size.
