441690 tn?1327078843 htm A good diet, that is hopefully free of sugars (tumors love sugar...unless you are doing a special diet that uses sugar/glucose for cancer fighting), is the best bet. The NCI has free book(s) on this. www.cancer.gov with free recipie guides and more. If you are interested in some other supplemention, I have a few articles located at: http://www..****..
Avatar f tn I follow a gluten free diet. I have celiac disease. So far it hasn't been easy. I used to pretty much live on tuna fish and lunch meat and now I can't have either. I'm afraid I won't get the nutrients my baby and myself need but I am trying. Luckily many grocery stores around me carry gluten free foods and there is a strict gluten free/dairy free/vegan bakery close by if I get a sweet tooth.
Avatar f tn Good luck with it all. Keep us posted as you how you are doing.
Avatar f tn I have done some reading online about diets and endometriosis and was wondering if anyone has any advice or further information relating to this. I have found that a gluten free diet has made a difference with the pain and try to avoid too many dairy products and preservative rich foods. Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
1346724 tn?1282322904 One of my friends has her son on the Gluten Free diet and she thinks he has been calmer. Her son is severely autistic and at 19, wears protective underclothing and is non-verbal. He used to lash out more than he does now & she attributes that to his change in diet and the therapy he is getting to stimulate him.
Avatar f tn I'm in my early 20s I get more or less 5ml I read online that it should be between 2-5ml but a lot of stuff online is unreliable so I don't know for certain. Semen samples can vary greatly though if he's had a sample passed fertile it could just be this latest sample was taken on a bad day. I'm sure even the most fertile of men will occassionally produce infertile samples.
Avatar n tn I'm curious as to whether or not the casein and gluten-free diet is one that needs to be adhered to for the entirety of a person's life who has autism and has found it to help? What happens if my son's autism improves because of this diet but he goes back to consuming casein and gluten some day? Will his autistic symptoms reappear or have they been cured?
1337734 tn?1336234591 Terry Wahls clains to have put her MS to sleep using diet. The keys to her specific diet are typically available for sale on her web site. THis always makes me leary. Our bodies are at war, albeit with themselves. The stronger we can make our bodies, the more able they will be to fight the fight. THis includes a well balanced diet.
Male My doctor has told me I need to move to a gluten-free diet....yikes!!! All my life (and that is a very long time--ha ha) I have generally eaten whatever I wanted to eat. This change to a GF diet seems like such a huge mountain to climb. I know there are many others who have had to change to a GF diet after a lifetime of eating what they wanted with little or no restrictions. How does a person even get started on a change like this? What do you do when you go out to eat at a restaurant?
1156486 tn?1262394803 I will start a Iodine free diet next week in preparation for my Iodine131 treatment (for Jan. 21st) and would like to find the thyca cookbook. I did not see it on the thyca wedsite. I want to make sure that I do everything possible to insure good results from the treatment so I would appreciate finding recipes. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Is it possible/ recommended to do a gluten free diet crossed with a calorie controlled diet? I was thinking of cutting carbs also but if I have to have them they have to be gluten free? Is that recommended ? Or is there any other way to do it?
Avatar n tn Hello I wanted to know if there is a diet I can go on to increase my butt. I am petti and am sick of not having any shape o booty. I want to keep a flat stomach and small waist, so I know have to exercise.
Avatar n tn I had kidney stone surgically removed two months ago. I've been basically pain free since the removal of the stent a week later. But just yesterday I started to get an ache in my left side, where it had hurt previously. Could it be surgically related, or am I potentially dealing with another stone? My back does not ache nor is it severe pain at this time.

Avatar f tn My son had a stool analysis done and the results show large yeast. Therefore, we are preparing to do an antifungal treatment. I am just wanting advice from anyone that has done an antifungal treatment. The main thing I am wanting to know is what was used, for how long, in what dosage and what the die-off effects were. We are looking at S. Boulardi, Nystatin, Diflucan as our main options. Thank you for any help.
Avatar f tn Has any one had success with a gluten free casine free diet? We are about to try it under the support from an integrated medical doctor and dietitian. Does any one have any good result stories or otherwise?
Avatar f tn Is there any specific diet for diabetic patients? There are many articles online but confusing for which to follow. Some say fruits are bad, others say they are healthy, for example, bananas. Are there certain vitamins or supplements to take or any natural change of eating habits? It may vary from person to person but generally what should one eat to control levels of blood sugar.
610738 tn?1263111556 I have spoken to my doctor about it but none of the doctors in my area have even heard of the condition let alone what to do about it, other then eliminate sugar completely from my diet. I have tried searching for sucrose free diets as I am only allowed a max of 2% sucrose in any food. Does anyone know where I could find information on what foods I can eat as elimination diet does not seem to be working. Most foods, even natural contain sucrose.
Avatar m tn Due to stomach problems, I have decided to try a Specific Carbohydrate Diet. Has anyone experienced relief on this diet? So basically, this is what I got from it- fresh vegtables, fresh fruits, lean meats, most nuts, NO LACTOSE, NO SUGAR (except in fruits and honey), and NO STARCHES. Is this about right? Also, what is the policy on yogurt and coconut milk?
Avatar m tn The common advice for borderline high LDL is to eat less saturated fat, make sure you are eating a good amount of soluble fiber in your diet, lose weight if you are overweight, exercise regularly, and don't use tobacco. Good luck.
Avatar n tn It is different for everyone apparently. But I just read that more than 50% of Crohn's patients also have celiac disease (both are autoimmune), so I highly suggest a gluten free diet and possibly milk free to see if it helps eliminate most of your problems. My brother-in-law has Crohn's and most of his relief came from the gluten free diet. You can look it up online. You can't cheat - must be 100% gluten free including vitamins and medications. Hope this helps!
637356 tn?1301924822 Im not sure if any website would offer that for free (there might be, but I don't know of any for free). But to be honest if you cut out any type of soda, junk food and excess sugar you will see weight loss. You could also try googling "healthy meals" and see what you can come up with and kind of put everything together. also if you try not to eat to many bread products that will also help with the weight loss too. Good Luck!!!
