Avatar f tn My 59 year old husband, Hep C+ diagnosed in 2007, F-4 Cirrhosis diagnosed in 2010, compensated liver (last blood work was in July, 2012, and he has never had ascites, varices, or hepatic encephalopathy), and failed three Hep C treatments in past 5 years (last failure was triple tx w/Incivek stopped treatment mid-April, 2012 due to viral breakthrough), not currently on treatment. Question: He has had pain and swelling on forearm recently.
Avatar n tn I have had mitral valve prolapse w/minor twinges of chest pain for 20 yrs. For 12 years I could not exercise without getting chest pain the next day. Then for the last 10 years I have been able to exercise with no problems. Then I had knee pain & was put on a 14 day dose of Diclofenac Sodium. After 10 days, I got chest pains for 2 days. I went off of medicine. Ever since whenever I exercise, I get chest pains the next day. I had stress test done & heart looks ok.

He used to be so laid back. anyway, he took these tablets and it was like a miracle! I had my man back! We had the best 10days for years and it got so that I could tell whether or not he had needed to take or not, just from his mood.

Avatar f tn Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.

Avatar f tn Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.

The doctor also mentioned that my tonsil is swollen, which is weird coz I didn't feel any pain or sorethroat. Both the medication did not relief my headache/tinnitus and to make it worse, I have been having problem sleeping ever since I'm taking those medication (diclofenac/prochlorperazine). The headache continues, so as the tinnitus and it is wearing me off.
