975514 tn?1324997938 Has anyone here developed vitreous floaters in their eyes while taking the medication Voltaren (Diclofenac)? I have developed some in my left eye. On the marketing material it states that some people taking the medication have been known to have developed floaters, but it wasn't during the drug trials and it was less than 1% of the people taking it.
Avatar n tn Many arthritis sufferers are in a panic over the shortage of Voltaren gel (diclofenac sodium gel) and I get why they are worried. Voltaren gel is a prescription topical anti-inflammatory gel used for all kinds of arthritis pain: rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and osteoarthritis of the knees, hands and hips. People who have stomach issues from taking anti-inflammatories by mouth can bypass that problem with Voltaren gel.
1204528 tn?1588786333 I am currently taking carbamazepine for BP disorder type II, and I noticed it's getting hard to breath, l had the same symptom a few months back, went to several especialists but none of them found any respiratory or circular problem. It turned out to be zopiclone I was taking to sleeping. I am not taking zopiclone anymore. Now the only medications I am taking are carbamazepine for BP II and anti inflammatory for my sciatica. Any ideas?
Avatar n tn //www.drugs.com/voltaren-gel.html. Diclofenac is voltaren and the gel contains the Nsaid. This information states clearly that aspirin should not be used at the same time. Normally, blood thinners are also not used with Nsaids. So, speak with your doctor, of course, but would advise not to use these together based on the provided information.

453731 tn?1225199508 You should not take acetaminophen (Tylenol), aspirin, or NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) unless your doctor has told you to. NSAIDs include celecoxib (Celebrex), diclofenac (Voltaren), ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil), indomethacin, naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn), piroxicam (Feldene), and others. These medicines may affect blood clotting and could cause serious bleeding in your stomach or intestines. Avoid sudden changes in your diet. Vitamin K decreases the effects of Coumadin.
18663 tn?1198171815 There are many medications that are ototoxic to our ears causing hearing loss and tinnitus, some have permanent effects while others have side effects only while taking the medication. On your particular list, Asprin stands out the most. Asprin does cause hearing los & tinnitus as do most of the NSAIDS (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). As far as the your other medications, I would consult your physician to learn more about the side effects of those particular medications.
363110 tn?1340920419 During this last pregnancy I was referred to Pain MGMT (I had been on Norco and Soma prior to my pregnancy and it did help my pain but the Soma made me have bad side effects) . Pain mgmt however is NOT willing to do further imaging studies to pinpoint my pain.
2080404 tn?1643113754 Hi there. Is this better? Prozac does give some gi side effects. When my son started this, he had nausea and it lasted for about a week and a half and then began getting better. He chewed ginger gum, ate tums and peptobismal chews. They seemed to help him. Was trazadone new as well? I will say that unless something is really awful, giving a full trial is best in my opinion. My son actually needed the full dose of prozac of 80 mg, so prepare that they may tweak your dosage as well.

Avatar f tn I cannot live w/o the med due to the pain but oftentimes get some GI side effects and also if taken too close to my Synthroid (thyriod issues) I get very tired and/or anxiety .... As I ramble .. I guess I'm wondering if ANYBODY out there has seen success with this new patch and what you think about it .... Big Zero for me.
Avatar f tn Whatever gets you through the day, but don't overdue NSAIDS. They all have side effects, and you will absorb some of it into your body. But for occasional use, it's not going to be a problem.
