like that was going to last!). 6 months ago I started taking diclofenac (an NSAID) and apparantly it works REALLY WELL for pain b/c I am supposed to stop taking it 7-10 days before surgery b/c of bleeding issues. I stopped it last week and OMG I can't believe how bad my pain became. I could not even walk, could not get comfortable in bed to sleep, etc etc etc.

Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.

i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.

Does anyone have any experience with diclofenac? If so, does it work better than over the counter antiinflammatory drugs and does upset the stomach much?

Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.

I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.

Also take pyridium for 2-3 days(it stains the urine orange) and sit in warm non soapy water. Also consult a doctor for antibiotics prescription if the symptoms persist. ve tried ALL the OTC options for my pain, ICYHOT, heat packs, cold, hot showers, laying different ways w/pillows between my knees and elbows, etc. Currently I take Norco 10/325 1 every 4 hrs. but it BARELY helps. does anyone have any new suggestions as to what I can do? Pain mgmt also is pushing NSAIDS and I've tried Ibuprofen as well as aleve and they'd like me to try Voltaren (sp?) jell which is Diclofenac.

For now, pls take some antacid like Maalox and Mylanta or OTC medications like zantac or prilosec.Take some anti inflammatory pain killer like diclofenac and apply muscle relaxant on the lower back.Also try improving your posture while playing the saxophone ,so that minimum abnormal posture is there and minimum pressure is there on the spine.If the symptoms persist then pls get an X-ray or MRI lumbar spine done. An orthopedic doctor can diagnose this for you. You can try OTC anti-inflammatory + pain killer like ibuprofen, heat compress and local analgesic spray or cream. And please remember, that if you see multiple doctors, you should let them know all medications you take including anything over the counter such as aspirin. This information states clearly that aspirin should not be used at the same time. Normally, blood thinners are also not used with Nsaids.

This is a varicocele surgery on his testicles. He had a high fever a few hours ago. I injected diclofenac 75mg in his muscle due to his request. I take a drug called Naproxen 1000mg, it lasts all day long and is very strong. There are also other strong NSAIDS that you could try like Diclofenac and Indocid etc. You will need a Dr to write a script for those. I'm not suggesting that you take these on my advice alone, but you might want to talk to your Dr about them. There are also other types of drugs which may help you, such as anti-convulsants, which have pain killing properties as well. And of course, keep up the gentle excercise.

Monday I wen to the doctor cause I was breeding bad an she told me to take a blood pregnancy test right a way I went and my results came back negative. So she told me to take diclofenac for 3days and microgynon tablets for 3months and today makes two days I was breeding for an it stop.

since nov 2010 i have been in and out of hospital 3 times for the same symptoms very painful swollen testecalls each time given ciprofloxacin 500mg tablets,diclofenac sodium 50mg, for six weeks also told to go to st marys hosp to be checked for std have done so and am please to say all clear. been back to my dr for follow on check only to be given more diclofenac to take for another six weeks WHY?.

I ve tried also diclofenac drops and they help me the best actualy but also after some time I have like blured vision after using them. At this time I am using artificial tears and sometimes diclofenac drops when redness is so bad... Please let me know if anybody have similar problems...

I have red/brown freckles on my lower legs and ankles. Have been on diclofenac potassium for a year for a torn meniscus. Could that have caused those spots?
