Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.
i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.
Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.
I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.
My 59 year old husband, Hep C+ diagnosed in 2007, F-4 Cirrhosis diagnosed in 2010, compensated liver (last blood work was in July, 2012, and he has never had ascites, varices, or hepatic encephalopathy), and failed three Hep C treatments in past 5 years (last failure was triple tx w/Incivek stopped treatment mid-April, 2012 due to viral breakthrough), not currently on treatment.
Question: He has had pain and swelling on forearm recently.

Actually pain Episode started when Due to some allergic reaction to aceclofenac and diclofenac .I had blister and rashes that time i couldnt understabd what is it for.that gave me extreme fear and stress for 15 to 30 days.also afterwards it turned to food allergy .i always started itching when i eat any thing.it was so scarcy and stressful..then one day 18 month back.
All of my blood-work is mostly in the normal ranges. My testosterone levels have been low, so I inject 10mg of testosterone once a week in my glutus maximus to bring it into a normal range. I also have hypothyroidism and take 65mg of nature-throid once daily. My sex drive is probably "normal" but: my body will not cooperate! Anything I can do? Is there anything that can help? My liver levels two years ago were normal. How can this happen? I have been in Diclofenac (Naproxen) medicine for 3 1/2 months as result of a foot injury. Do you think my abnormal levels could be related to this medicine? I'm so concerned.
He says, I have sprained my knee and put me on Diclofenac Sodium tabs alog with a Heat Rub. I started feeling better within 2 days. This is a varicocele surgery on his testicles. He had a high fever a few hours ago. I injected diclofenac 75mg in his muscle due to his request. I was 15 this time and I took 15 sleeping pills (not sure what it was, possibly Zopiclone? not sure of the dosage) and I took about 20 pills of diclofenac potassium. If the doctor prescribed that dosage, then I would trust him/her. Zoloft is typically prescribed from 50-200mg, so your son is taking a 'normal' dosage in my opinion. I was on Zoloft a couple of years ago and had no major problems coming off of it. Just ensure when it is time to come off the medication work with your doctor and taper down slowly.
