Has anyone here developed vitreous floaters in their eyes while taking the medication Voltaren (Diclofenac)? I have developed some in my left eye. On the marketing material it states that some people taking the medication have been known to have developed floaters, but it wasn't during the drug trials and it was less than 1% of the people taking it.
Hello, Although the site is quite far off from the injection site, but it looks like a nerve root of the sciatic nerve which passes through this area must have been irritated.Compression or irritation of the nerve causes the symptoms of pain and numbness. It can also be due to piriformis syndrome in which the piriformis muscle irritates the sciatic nerve and causes pain and numbness.

Two years I was told that I have Rotator cuff tendonitis. I was prescribed Diclofenac and it seemed to help for a short time. The pain went away for a few months, but returned. When I went back to the doctors when it started hurting again, once I told then I had tendonitis, they gave me a prescription of Diclofenac again. Beginning of the year I was given another prescription of Diclofenac, which does help, but to be honest I am fed up with just being given drugs and sent away.
I´m in Guatemala and had sever rt low back pain, I allowed a friend to give me an injection of Dolo-Neurobion (Diclofenac Sodium). She has no medical training and this injectable was purchased without RX. The back pain ceased but a new problem began in my rt leg. Started with hamstring cramping, moved to the calf and lateral boarder of the rt foot. Numbness/tingling accompanied the cramps. This has continued since Monday June 28.

Anyway, I have been making due with Diclofenac and Lidoderm patches; my question is--The Dr told me the injections I received 3 weeks ago would give me some relief within 1-2 weeks. I am just as bad off as I was to start with, if not worse due to site injection pain now. If I get another round injections, will I feel any better anytime soon? This pain has been going on for months now, and I am anxious to get back to work, etc.

I had bursitis 38 years ago and an xray showed the need for a cortisone injection. The relief was immediate, I had my arm in a sling for less than a week. If I wash windows or overuse that shoulder, I know to stop before it gets too painful. I was 18 then, now the pain is hanging on. It sometimes wakes me up, I can't get comfortable. Last night I lifted a pail of water and an excrutiating pain, like a vise grip pulling some tissue occurred. It felt like that until I dropped the pail.

That was the start of my (disease)? Went to an orthopedist. Got cortisone injection, gave me anti-inflammatories, sent me home told me to rest. Pain never went away, but it subsided a bit. Pain flared up again after about a month, ortho referred me to rheumatologist. More anit-inflammatories for a while. Pain disappeared for a bit but reappeared in the exact same area but the OPPOSITE knee. Same deal, more cortisone shots, etc.
The proposed therapy - antibiotics and diclofenac...If that doesn't work, one of them suggested giving me some injection in this part of my body... I'm confused and scared ...I feel pain, discomfort and i notice that this part of my body is getting bigger and bigger... What do you think it could be? Will these antibiotics therapy help or should i try something else?
Your phsycian would also be able to prescribe an anti-inflammatory to help you with the pain (eg diclofenac 50 mg) or give you a cortisone injection in the joint (as long as the test results confirm that this is not an infection). Lastly, you need to have an x-ray of the foot to rule out fractures or tumors.

I am still not allowed to take any NSAID's, as the surgeon says they interfere with the process of bone formation. The biggest problem I am having is a dramatic increase in post-injection body aches following my Rebif dosing. Previously, I was taking a prescription anti-inflammatory twice daily, which minimized my post-injection symptoms. I haven't been allowed to use that, or any other, NSAID for 5 weeks now.
OK, but here is my problem my Father is a very active man but since this accident and introduction of dihydrocodiene he became docile and stopped eating. It was working after two days but then the doctor said his kidney function was acting up and stopped everything and put hom on oramorph and zomorph???? He's a zombie, he hardly ever wakes up and when he does he's not coherant.

She can do her own personal work, other than that she cannot do anything. So she is very frustarted and always talk about suicde.
