Also the blood pressure issue may be related to the diclofenac, as this has as its side effects raising her blood pressure, so I would suggest using it sparingly or changing to another medication class.
When the paramedics got there, they put oxygen on me and tried to get my vitals. My mom told me that when they did my blood pressure, the reading was 90/palpable. After they got me in the ambulance, it took them three tries to get the IV in and off to the hospital I went yet again. This was my fourth visit, two by ambulance, for muscle spasms. And, like the previous visits, I was given morphine which relaxed me enough to sleep. While I was in the ER, coincidently I think...

Hi, how old are you? Any history of viral infection? What about your blood pressure? The pain is felt when you lie down, could be muscular pain. Try anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, diclofenac etc for 4-5 days, if no relief is seen, consult doctor for investigations.
You should not stop carbazepine but diclofenac can be stopped a bit to see if it is the cause if even tho I don't think it can cause shortness of breath. I would have my blood pressure checked too. Mionevrix is okay to stop too to see if it's the cause. The odds are very high that your problem is anxiety.
Please note any unusual bleeding, especially blood in the stool. 4. If you have high blood pressure, it is best to avoid NSAIDs, such as diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, etc. May need to consider other pain medications for your osteoarthritis if your blood pressure is not well controlled. 5. Atenolol may not be the best anti-hypertensive medication for patients with history of depression. Good luck! For more information, please go to: 1. Paroxetine - Medline Plus http://www.nlm.
They may also increase blood pressure and cause kidney damage if taken at high doses. I understand you had surgery to treat the pain. However, surgical procedures may or may not cure the condition. I do not know what surgery and what medical condition you have. Pain medications are usually taken for short period of time. For chronic pain management, you will need rehabilitation and physical therapy, with or without pain medications.
Hi, Voltaran is Diclofenac which is a NSAID (non steroidal anti-inflammatory agent). Diclofenac has been found to increase the risk of heart attacks and stroke especially on long term usage. Although this side effect is very rare. The reason for increased tendency to strokes is because it causes the formation of blood clots. Immediate medical help should be sought if a patient on long term diclofenac develops chest pain, breathlessness, weakness of one side of body and blurred vision.
I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. Pain can change your blood pressure and even make you feel like throwing up... keep us posted.
i have been diognosed with an inflamation near spine lower back (pinched nerve) and I also have high blood pressure is there an anti-inflamatory i can take that wont increase my blood pressure?
fainting can result from lo blood pressure before doing a brain imaging be sure that your cardiologist has nothing to add
It is fine when nothing is touching it, however if I put the slightest pressure on it or try walking, there is intense pain in the small spot. I cannot walk without limping (not putting pressure on the big toe). It doesn't seem like there's any swelling or redness, although recently it' started turning a little purplish. If this continues, past this 4th of july weekend, I intend to see a doctor, but I thought I'd try here first.
now it seems I feel the discomfort at more regular intervals...no issues when sleeping, running hard or exercising...
However, most of them do present sparingly and occur only a few times in a year for some persons. Do you have hypertension (high blood pressure)? Is the pain throbbing, constricting or sharp? Do you experience pain radiating to your arms? Any recent stressful situations? Your headaches are generally non-specific from your description and could be related to tension headache, hypertension, or nerve impingement at the cervical area, though there is no absolute certainty at this time.
It took him 3 days (I called all three days) to call me back when I was so concerned about my heart and blood pressure. If I couldn't get into my primary I was going to the ER. I am so thankful my dr. took the time to really listen to me!!! Thanks for all your help and suggestions because I was able to explain exactly what was going on!
Now instead of the sharp pains the upper shaft would shrivel up and become blood constricted; the entire penis shrivels along with my scrotum. I feel this isnt normal and something is wrong with either my PROSTATE, COLON, OR PELVIC MUSCLE; be it cancer, infection or something. It's like every time I pass a stool I get temporary erectile dysfunction. Ive been to 2 urologist already. One gave me a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug(Diclofenac).
Only obs worth noting were very slightly raised temp, and high blood pressure (which I have never, ever experienced before). Taking Diclofenac + Paracetamol for the pain. Any ideas as to the cause anyone? Your input is much appreciated.
I am a 6Oyear old man in general good health although my blood pressure is rather high. For the last few months I have experienced chest tightness and phlegm in the chest all the time, no sputum "yet" . I am not a smoker and never have been. I have visited my general medical practitioner (NHS) twice. The first time he was concerned that the chest pain could indicate a heart condition and sent me for a series of blood tests for the major organs and an ECG at rest.
liver function ok, not anaemic, calcium ok, red blood count ok, no inflammation, white blood cells ok. Kidney function in the normal range but at the bottom end of the range. Doctor said it was low for my age (25). She said to leave it 2 weeks to test kidney function again and see if it changes. They were looking for a rise in creatinine. Just had blood test. Getting results tomorrow. Pain started on day 1 on right side flank area. It had radiated around my side down to my groin area.

I didn't start having heartburn until I had taken Mobic for 4 or 5 months, in February of this year I went to the emergency room with chest pain and my blood pressure was 165/113, my blood pressure is usually 110/72. So I was a little concerned, they did lots of tests, x-ray, EKG, and came to the conclusion that it is was heartburn due to the mobic. The doctor prescribed nexium, which I have been taking ever since, and it seems to help with the chest pain.
I made a rash decision to ditch all of them except the High blood pressure medication; my blood pressure was 150/109. Since doing so I feel amazing. Four months ago I decided to change my eating habits, quit a 20 year addiction to Coke Zero and started exercising everyday about a month ago; this was very difficult to start with RA, but I already feel amazing differences in my fitness. I have gone from 315 to 292.9 pounds.

It would be best to get a proper clinical examination - you need an MRI brain for sure and also some blood tests. Get your blood pressure and blood sugar checked. You should also get your eyesight checked and get a dental check up done. All this will only help rule out the possible causes in your case. Talk to your neurologist and ask him if a cervical spine xay or MRI spine done to find out the cause of your pain. Is the dicofenac helping? Good luck.
The neurologist can also help out in finding the cause of your headaches. Headaches in a person with high blood pressure can be tricky. In general, headaches occur when too much blood is available to the brain due to blood vessels being relaxed (vasodilation) allowing more blood to flow into the brain. The enlarged vessels puts pressure on the tissues that surround it and cause pressure that you recognize as pain.
Hi, you could be probably having migraine or tension headache, is there any associated symptoms. Are you under any stress, check your blood pressure and consult your physician as there may be neuritis aslo. Take restyl tab with OTC pain killers and have hot bath before going to sleep.
Avoid alcohol and smoking and get your blood pressure checked too. For the swelling in your knees and hands you should try hot fomentation, local application of diclofenac gel. Also discuss this with your physician and see if he thinks you should get some xrays done.
