We all get ostensibly that same training and all of us are supposedly in it to help our patients. So, how come have I been getting so many letters lately on my addiction forum from desperate people unable to quit taking the tramadol pills that their own kind doctors have so freely prescribed for them?

It responded to anti-inflamatory drugs like Diclofenac and hot massages. The hot water bottle helps. I have arthritis and had had pains in some rib joints before so the explanation is that when the rib joints are inflammed and you breath in, the inflamed joints prevent the chest from expanding and that has an effect on the big chest muscles located in the rib cage. This causes intense pain. Mine sometimes takes about 3 weeks to clear.

I have the same problem and have also seen the doctor twice and been diagnosed with the windpipe virus the first time and lung infection the second time and put onto antibiotics. Again, the antibiotics haven't helped me. To add to this, I now have severe pain in the region of my right lung, where they said the infection was, and slight pain around my left lung.

Started with hamstring cramping, moved to the calf and lateral boarder of the rt foot. Numbness/tingling accompanied the cramps. This has continued since Monday June 28.

This past month I had all my pms symptoms as usual except that when my period started the soreness in my breast did not go away and my period lasted almost 6 days. I made an urgent appointment with my primary doctor and he did a chest xray and EKG and decided that my heart is fine and that it's just a muscle strain. That cannot be true but he would not listen. I've been reading a lot of peoples' symptoms that are similar to mine and a lot of them have Congestive Heart Failure or Pericardial effusion. I don't know what to do from here. He prescribed Diclofenac Sodium for the supposed muscle strain.

(sorry for my bad english) 30 years old male - running nose and no sense of smell for the past 12 months. No asthma/smoking/alcohol/drugs/coffee. Does not seem to be location dependant (a few 5-days travels didn't affect it). After 4 visits to the MD (ie 4*5 minutes) and a ton of experimentation: Bacteria analysis (nose and throat) resulted clean. [for an unrelated condition I took two classes of antibiotics and they didn't affect my nose] I used to sleep 5-6 hours/day.
And it seemed to have completly destabielised my vertebrae. The latest scan and EMG showed my neck is simply fusing, and deforming. And normally an EMG doesn't hurt, but the nerves are so damaged there is no signal. Numb fingers, legs constact headache. I'm 30 yo, the only thing I shouldn't have done was smoke. I have good days and bad. The problem is that since you can't see it, some doctor's dispute the amount of pain I'm in.
I am on a nebulizer, 4 x's a day. Gerds and larynx spasm have been mentioned and meds have been given for this. That was on the a week ago. The coughing is not making me weeze as much now, but is still extreme and causing a great deal of pain in my ribs and chest. I also have Scleroderma, so I'm wondering if the esophagus may be involved, since it seems to be coming from the upper area and not the lungs. Any suggestions?
NSAIDs presently on the market that have been frequently associated with liver injury are aspirin (ASA), diclofenac (Voltaren), and sulindac (Clinoril). You also could apply local diclofenac or some other analgesic ge to the neck and back region. Try some neck and back exercises - they might help. Also try to sleep well. Avoid any alcohol or smoking. Also see if your headache is brought about by or increased due to any stress factors like loud noise, strong lights etc. It would be best to consult your family physician first and then a neurologist if the symptoms still persist.
At the two weeks, I visited my doctor and he said looks good see you in four weeks and I was still no weight bearing. No explanation. I had to stop him from running out of the room to remind him that my foot was still not in walking position. He said not to worry because I would probably regain full motion in my ankle and he didn't see any need to change the cast. I went home and gradually started to feel better. I was happy because I felt like I was healing.

I started taking Vicoprofen 4-5 weeks ago and I would take 1 in the morning and 1 at night and during the day if I was in pain I would take a little extra motrin. My neurologist gave it to me but when I ran out she did not want to give me anymore,, but she promiced she would. I was also on Robaxin which my neurologist said was a much better muscle relaxer then Flexaril.
In the case that this is due to some circulation problems amongst most of us, from my research I recommend you all to start taking Omega-3 fish oils and L'arginine ethyl ester (helps increase and improve blood flow) on a daily basis. Further look into Ginko Biloba, but I'm unsure about the effectiveness of this. Also wrap a hot towel around your penis once a day.
