Avatar m tn You can do a general search from your home page with the words "anal fistula homeopathic remedies," there are several, but I don't know their "language," so I cannot comment on that. I WILL say surgery is the best option, relatively simple, altho I guess cost is the issue else your uncle would have gone to the surgeon long ago.

1288270 tn?1301287612 There are natural remedies and there are medicinal remedies; they don't cure so much as dry up the rash more quickly. There are homeopathic remedies, soaps, herbs (i know jewelweed lotion is used for poison ivy; not so sure about oak). I believe the medicinal approach is mostly steroidal cream to calm the itching. Lots of stuff out there, but all of it will take some time to work.
Avatar m tn Ensure that her bottom is well cleaned after she has emptied her bowels (use a wet wipe and dry the bottom, or use a dampened toilet tissue paper). Use the diaper rash ointment, Sudocrem or an ointment with zinc, your pharmacist will also be able to assist to help you choose one. If the problem does not start to improve within a couple of days, get a doctor to check her over. Sometimes soreness can be caused by a fungal infection.
Avatar n tn s bottom if he or she has a yeast-based diaper rash. I always used to have it in our diaper bag, which invariably made my girlfriends laugh.
Avatar m tn Oh and have you tried nappy/diaper rash cream? That stuff works wonders.
Avatar m tn This is a homeopathic formula containing several commonly used homeopathic remedies. It is used for back pain caused by bad discs and such. This is not typically how homeopathy is used to cure, rather this is a symptomatic relief. Cures would usually be one constitutional remedy, applied through trial and error, in much higher dilutions than the ones used in formulas. This might give you some relief, it might not -- homeopathy is very hit and miss.
Avatar m tn I would also like to hear about what homeopathic remedies have been tried. I took silica on the recommendation of the naturopath - it hasn't seemed to help after a week, but I will give it more time before I stop.
Avatar m tn What we are trying to tell you is doctors do not usually recommend homeopathic remedies. The majority of the advice given on this forum is clinical. You should try to find a forum that deals with home remedies. Also, maybe someone from the urology forum can help since a UTI is a urological issue (but not an std). http://www.medhelp.
Avatar n tn I have been living with a rash for approximately 8 months. It started when I moved to a hot climate under a lo of stress. It formed on my upper back as "acne like" bumps. They would not pop, but only bleed. I left it alone and they all scarred. They itched as well. A couple of months later, small itchy bumps formed on each side of my mouth, slightly lower.
4715985 tn?1371582997 Homeopathic remedies such as pulsatilla are often used to stimulate labour. There is lots of anecdotal evidence from moms-to-be who have found them helpful. However, talk to your doctor or midwife before trying them. Nipple Stimulation: Nipple stimulation is when you gently rub or roll your nipples to encourage the start of contractions. The idea is to simulate nursing your baby. This releases oxytocin, a hormone which causes contractions to start.
Avatar f tn My daughter turned 15 and was immediately met with acne on her face and back that progressively got worse. We started treating it with homeopathic remedies. That seemed to keep it in check but didn't heal it. The acne was severe and we learned it had a name - cystic acne. The medical options had adverse side affects - so just continued the cleaning and supplement regimen to keep it under control. Two years later she was 17, she had her first boil in her groin area.
Avatar f tn I try my best to avoid prescription meds and prefer natural remedies. I also use ultrasound and ice treatment methods. What methods do you use?
Avatar m tn I believe that homeopathic remedies have some effect in certain conditions, likely through neurohormonal effects, but double vision is not one of them. Since you are not a fan of Western medicine it sure doesn't seem like you would be happy to undergo a surgical procedure on your eyes.
Avatar n tn Went to the website, but can't really tell you whether this will work or not. My experience in the world of heath food stores has left me very skeptical of direct marketers such as this one, and it's hard to see how they can treat you without seeing you since all individuals are different. This is not purely homeopathic medicine, it's a combination of ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, with homeopathy, also extremely popular in India.

Avatar f tn Could just be a regular diaper rash, butif it's not going away it could be a yeast diaper rash. If regular diaper cream doesn't clear it up within a few days, talk to his doctor. You may need a special topical cream (possibly Nystatin cream) if it's a yeast diaper rash. You could try a little cornstarch to keep his bum dry and change his diaper often. Also, keep it clean and give it some time to air dry too.
Avatar n tn ignatia amara and gelsemnium sylvestre, homeopathic remedies for anxious thoughts and anticipatory anxiety; and the occasional Gaia Serenity compound, a mixture of herbs, and taurine to make GABA. I also take adaptogens (the ones I mentioned) and fish oil, and I meditate twice a day and exercise a lot, and eat pretty much only organic foods, though I'm not the model eater.
Avatar n tn I was prescribed steroid cream, which never worked to reduce or prevent the lesions. Eventually I turned to homeopathic remedies. I have been taking horse chestnut seed extract daily (available from most health food stores including GNC), which is recommended for circulation. The lesions stopped occurring quickly and return when I stop taking the horse chestnut, though I occasionally still get one on my legs. I hope this can help others with this disease.
Avatar m tn yes, we have both been tested. They have been there for about 2 weeks now.
Avatar n tn Are there any homeopathic remedies that offer relief for this disease? Has the onset been connected to any activities, foods, exposure or pre-exixting condition in the patient? Have there been any successful treatments found outside of steroids? This discussion is related to Orbital Pseudo Tumor or another problem.
391038 tn?1298737386 for homeopathic remedies I will defer to those who specialize in this area. For food my recommendation is "the best you can afford". Sometimes the best medicine is not medicine at all - it's food. I like Hill's Science Diets, IAMS Pro Active Health, Nutro and NutroMax. All my giant breeds have done very very well on these brands. If your dog needed any special nutritional supplementation, then your veterinarian will prescribe that for you.
Avatar n tn I just had a new born on 10/13/15...when I change her diaper she has this RED rash on her buns wit a little bit of blood...
