And I have been having these bumps on my penis and pubic region for the same amount of time. I have been negative for STDs. And recenly the tingling, itching is mostly in the groin area. My vision seems to be blurred since yesterday. My fasting sugars right now range between 104 -118.

There are no pros in eating red blooded animal flesh. This is my opinion only, others may differ. Google search under "diabetic vegan nutrition" turned up 158,000 hits http://tinyurl.com/45pwnx. You may want to consult with your doctor to bring your physical conditioning to an acceptable level with a diet and exercise protocol. I don't know the significance of the ulcer for your low BMI, but that may need an intervention as well.

Avatar m tn Hello. My name is Alyssa and my dog Bailey is diabetic. We got Bailey from a shelter when I was 14. They estimated she was anywhere between 1 1/2 to 3 years old at that time. It's now 8 years later, so she is around 10+ years old. She was diagnosed almost a year ago. She is currently getting 2 injections of insulin a day with her meals of 7 units of insulin at a time. Avatar n tn I know this sounds strange but where do you begin. I was diagnosis with type II diabetes fall of 2007 after I was admitted in the hopsital for chest pain. I was also put on lopresser 25mg PO BID and norvasc 5mg PO QID. The hospital didn't realize my sugar was up in the hopsital but my family doctor seen my lab results from when I was in the hospital. She started me on metformin 500mg PO BID due to my A1C being 7. I didn't like how it made me feel but continued to take it.
