I have been pre-diabetic for almost 1.5-2 years now. I have had tingling sensation all over the body, Numbness in feet and slight neurotic pain in the legs below knees. And I have been having these bumps on my penis and pubic region for the same amount of time. I have been negative for STDs. And recenly the tingling, itching is mostly in the groin area. My vision seems to be blurred since yesterday. My fasting sugars right now range between 104 -118.
my question is a type 2 diabetic person can feel weakness and lazy to do activities.

Continue with the walking and weight exercise. Be conscious of what you eat (nutrition). Stay away from processed foods and bad carbs and limit your dairy intake to help prevent fluctuations. Your FBS goal is <100 mg/dl.
Besides following a diabetic diet and perhaps going on insulin, I have no idea.

First, congrats in controlling your diabetes and making a lifestyle change to get off injecting insulin. I too am a vegan but not full blown for I do eat fish for the protein. There are no pros in eating red blooded animal flesh. This is my opinion only, others may differ. Google search under "diabetic vegan nutrition" turned up 158,000 hits http://tinyurl.com/45pwnx. And "diabetes vs vegan" resulted in 1,390,000 hits, all positive on vegetarian diets.
Nutrition is a very important component for good health, and an improper diet can cause CAD and heart problems in the long term. You may want to consult with your doctor to bring your physical conditioning to an acceptable level with a diet and exercise protocol. I don't know the significance of the ulcer for your low BMI, but that may need an intervention as well.
Basically a specialist that treats diabetes. Then also to a nutrition class. So I see both my OB and the specialist to help maintain my levels.

Diabetes has been known to be hereditary more so with type 2 than type 1. There are a number of heredity factors and environmental conditions that will play into if someone develops diabetes. The latter is obesity, bad nutrition, and lack or no daily exercise.

Hello. My name is Alyssa and my dog Bailey is diabetic. We got Bailey from a shelter when I was 14. They estimated she was anywhere between 1 1/2 to 3 years old at that time. It's now 8 years later, so she is around 10+ years old. She was diagnosed almost a year ago. She is currently getting 2 injections of insulin a day with her meals of 7 units of insulin at a time. She is being fed the Hills Prescription Diet w/d low fat food. Initially she was managing fine with it.
I know this sounds strange but where do you begin. I was diagnosis with type II diabetes fall of 2007 after I was admitted in the hopsital for chest pain. I was also put on lopresser 25mg PO BID and norvasc 5mg PO QID. The hospital didn't realize my sugar was up in the hopsital but my family doctor seen my lab results from when I was in the hospital. She started me on metformin 500mg PO BID due to my A1C being 7. I didn't like how it made me feel but continued to take it.
