1666434 tn?1325262350 And with diabetic recipes especially it helps when you have some others backing up a recipe as their favorite tried and true recipe that they like. My husband's grandmother has a favorite that she always makes, but here is the diabetic version that tastes just the same: Chess Pie 1 stick butter , softened 1 Tbs. cornmeal 1/3 c. milk 3 eggs, beaten 3/4 c. splenda 1 teasp. vinegar 1 teasp. vanilla 1 unbaked pie crust Combine splenda and butter. Beat in eggs.
Avatar f tn For crockpot recipes, I love making chicken fajitas, sausage and peppers, and chicken and corn chowder. Also there are a lot of great healthy casserole recipes that require cooked chicken. I will put the chicken in the crockpot with my preferred seasonings before work, and by the time I get home, all I have to do is assemble the casserole and put it in the oven! That chicken also tastes good on a homemade salad if you start to feel too lazy for a casserole :) I hope th is helps!

For us with PCOS, it makes our bodies harder to digest simple carbs (i.e. pasta, breads, rice). So because of this, this is why we gain weight and this is why it takes so long to come off. My suggestions are as follows: Bread: whole grain, high fiber. Anything high fiber (yes it is more calories) works to your advantage, because it will make your body feel more full...
1304588 tn?1299071471 that does focus on veggies, chicken, fish and some lean red meats (but not much); the book comes with a lot of recipes. This diet uses a lot of spices/condiments to add variety to foods. Otherwise, just start surfing for recipes featuring those items; there are tons of them available. Figure out how many calories each of you requires/day and go from there. I might suggest that you have some blood work done, as well, if you haven't already.

579258 tn?1250649343 Since yesterday we went over mashed potatoes and we have previously covered the turkey....of course, today I was thinking that we needed some gravy! I found two recipes that I really like. Enjoy! ; ) Herbed Pan Gravy The giblets and neck from a turkey make a great flavorful stock that helps ensure a rich, tasty gravy, but you may substitute more chicken broth if you prefer.
