So since I'm losing so much weight and can't keep food down, my Dr recommend Smoothies.. I'm fond of the banana + strawberry. But what are some other recepies you would recommend.

Hi, i am doing Food technology GCSE and my coursework is to design and make a range of products suitable for a diabetic that could be sold in the healthy eating section of a supermarket. Part of my research is to produce a diabetic questionnaire asking relevant questions which would help me with my coursework. He cooks awesome but baking is just a little harder lol Im scared everytime he tells me hes making a dessert lol he actually made strawberry ice cream (easy quick recipe again lol) but it actually tasted awesome!

Unfortunately, only a physician can give you an accurate diagnosis of being pre-diabetic or diabetic, and since I am not one, I cannot answer that question for you. What I can do is give you my opinion on what you have told me and share what I do know with you. First of all, I would make an appointment for a complete physical with my physician and explain these symptoms.

I just saw a recipe for a grasshopper pie on line. I can usually find everything except healthier dessert recipes. I may have to try that one.

Hi everyone! I'm new to your Diabetes 2 Community but have been involved some with the MS community. I have Multiple Sclerosis but was diagnosed about 2 years ago with diabetes 2. When I first learned my blood sugar was high at 364, I immediately and without hesitation went on a diet and lost about 45 lbs. I did pretty good for a year and a half, but then I began eating sweets again. Plus, my best friend and Mom were very ill and dying, so I did a lot of stress eating.

With a chicken cutlet with a creamy white wine sauce to top it off. And grilled zucchini . And for dessert cranberry strawberry and rhubarb cobbler.

Cucumbers stuffed with chicken salad, small sundried tomato scones, mini crab cakes, three different kinds of tiny sandwiches, spinach and artichoke dip, deviled eggs and for dessert there was a chocolate cake, strawberry macarons, brownies, cookies and fruit salad. To drink we had sherbert punch and iced tea. It was all really good and a nice variety. Nothing to heat up and keep warm either.

Make infused water. Basically you make it the night before.. Do a few main hats each night and cut up fruit and stick it in there with water. Then it's cold and yummy!! Look on Google or pinterest for infused water recipes. Strawberry lemon is really good or lemon lime orange is yummy raspberry mint....

His tofu will be tossed out today, and the fresh dill he bought for last week is limp (Swampy thought of drying it, but in the end will just try to root a couple of stalks).

I always want sweets, but I'm not a big dessert/cake person so my "sweets" are fruits. I've been craving peaches, watermelon, grapes, and strawberry my entire pregnancy.
