Avatar f tn I read somewhere that broccoli is toxic to dogs. My dog likes eating the stem/root of broccoli sort of like a bone. He prefers fruits and veggies over his own dry dog kibble. Apparently, his doctor has known for a while that he was insaline resistant and pre-diabetic, but "didn't think it was a problem".
