Avatar f tn Prepare freezer meals ahead of time so you can just pop things in the oven or crock pot. Also, prepare for at least two weeks of doing nothing. Just rest and take care of baby.
Avatar f tn one thing that might help is on your days off prepare meals in advance and free them for days when you want a quick meal...also there are many healthy crock pot meals just put it in and leave it until it's done... for snacks have veggies already cut, cheese, and fruits at the ready...I hate to cook so I often feel lazy in that as well but I am trying to get better. It's never to late to get back on track...just stay strong and know your doing it for your little one.

I made tacos and a lasagna, but I think the kids would love your garlic toast pizza. We always use leftover hamburger bins or bagels with that. And now I'm craving dumplings!
Avatar f tn So with that being said, I plan on after the baby is born on using my crock pot a lot, using those crock pot liners so its way less mess, also eating premade fozen meals. The only thing I want to worry about is minimal dishes in the sink, laundry, and sweeping my floor as far as cleaning my house. . What little things are you doing or will do to make things easier on yourself if you can?

Plus it will be winter and we will have nice hot meals. WELL I thought I was all smart because I found a breakfast recipe! I was excited because I have been having boring oatmeal everyday. This was an cheese, bacon, egg and hash brown casserole. I made it all day yesterday, had some for dinner (yum!

Avatar f tn I'm sorry to break your bubble but your comment about large pots to cook is not entirely true. LOL I feed only one person but, there are certain meals you can't cook in a small pot. Pot Roast, Pork roast, Chili, and Stew to name a few. But a good try on that one. I do use your other suggestions for a large pot though. So when it comes to carrying the empty (or actually almost empty) pot to the sink all that is left is the liquid. But I also have one further suggestion.
435139 tn?1255460391 and its healthy. I just made cornbeef, carrots and potatoes all in the same crock pot and it was good. I just bought the crockpot 2days ago(i had always used my sisters lol) and it was only 20 dollars. I dont think you can go wrong with bakiing, george forman grill or the crockpot, all those things will cook the food for you, just keep an eye on and cook to your taste.

You can make them as healthy or as junkie as you like.
Avatar f tn Hubby and I have been crock-pot cooking and grilling a lot in the last 2 weeks. He has even made 2 dishes all by himself! He made chili which was so good...but gave me heartburn and right now he has a beef brisket in the crock-pot with veggies and a marinade. I just have to whip up some coucous and dinner will be ready for tomorrow night. He found the recipe and decided to do it. He wants to be able to cook for me once I have the baby...how sweet of him!
