Pls get your blood sugar (preferably GTT)done as polyphagia can be due to diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis and hypoglycemic attacks.
Also get your stool examination done as polyphagia can also be due to intestinal worms.
It can be due to graves disease or hyperthyroidism also.
Pls consult a neurologist or endocrinologist for the confirmatory diagnosis.

It seems that the diagnostic tests done were pretty much in order. Aside from cardiac and pulmonary issues, other causes of breathlessness include diabetic ketoacidosis, certain medications, hyperventilation and panic attack, thyrotoxicosis and even altitude sickness. Something needs to be done before you have to call 911 to treat diabetic ketoacidosis. I have been hospitalized for this 7 different times, each time being admitted to the icu. As soon as the vomitting start, I head straight for the emergency room because I have done this a few times and I know when its starting to get bad. I start to fell like I cant breathe. then I start vomitting. I also agree that the doctor doesnt seem to know what hes doing.
You could easily be in DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) which requires immediate medical attention. I would guess that if you called your doctor and explained your symptoms, he/she may tell you to go the emergency room immediately. But either way, PLEASE GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION so you can get treated and be ok!!!!!

It really is going to hurt you to have high ketones. It is one of the things that causes diabetic coma in undiagnosed type 1's, used to be known as juvenile. And your blood sugars are far too high. Blood sugars like these can be reason enough for a hospital admission. You may want to contact the medicaid office in your state to get them to cover you medically. You are doing your body no good at all in this current state of being.

The thing is that your cat is healthy now, but they have tons of kidney problems when they get old...and a diet that's stressing the kidneys or liver since they're small can increase the chances of kidney and livet failure a lot.
We are sceptical of what doctors say and always try to find first hand from others their experience he was misdiagnosed twicw before he went into ketoacidosis and they figured out he was diabetic. If you feel bad, please go to the nearest emergency room. You are potentially at risk of diabetic ketoacidosis. Please make sure the people you are living with know what is going on and if you are acting strange / appear unwell, they should take you to nearest medical attention.
This can progress to a serious complication called diabetic ketoacidosis. Testing the urine is one way to check for ketones. You can pick up urine test strips at your local drug store. Just follow the instruction to do the test. If I remember right if the test strip turnes pick you have ketones in your urine, plus the strip tells you if there is blood, glucose, and a couple other things. But If I were you I would go get checked out just incase. I hope this helps.
Yes DKA aka diabetic ketoacidosis has those symptoms but so does high blood sugar in general. She has the 4 common symptoms of diabetes seen in kiddos.
