620923 tn?1452915648 Hi All...wondering what type of resolutions a group of chiarians might make.....if u don't mind sharing I would appreciate ur candor. I resolve to lose weight....at least 30lbs for DD's wedding.....
644988 tn?1236364548 Just wondering if this is a common line of thinking. Ineveitably the start of 2009 will mark a turning point; there's lots of talk of new starts, better years, reflection on twelve months past and resolutions for the coming months. I've never been a big fan of the New Years Eve (henceforth I'll call it NYE) celebrations and usually handle it with an ambivalent attitude.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am wondering i fyou guys have had any resolutions with this issue as I am dealing with the exact same situation with my husband, who is now 25 years old diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 10. Non-low related grand-mal seizure activity with no answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
3053649 tn?1356365017 Okay just making sure, haha everyone is posting new years resolutions and happy new years eve, and I'm just like hmmm I must be missing something hahah, I forget too, though that there are people already into the 31st
1534282 tn?1294328945 I'm one of those that made 'that' new years resolution. Like I've done the last 35 years of new years. Very frustrating! Oh.....I did successfully quit for 2 1/2 years in the 80's. Had accupuncture for it with a chiropractor but didn't think that worked nessarily....but will to quit componded by the idea that if I was silly enough to go have needles poked in my ear....I should quit.
649848 tn?1534633700 I know everyone is still concentrating on Christmas, but I'm wondering if anyone will making New Year's resolutions?? I have not been making resolutions for lots of years because it seems like they always end up going by the wayside within a couple of months and I end up feeling like I lied to myself. I recently purchased a journal in which I have been recording things that happen in my life and how I feel about them.
Avatar m tn At the same time I was informed by one of the nurses that I had diabtes. It rang up 8.5 which, according to my brother who has had diabetes for years, is not that serious. However, I am not one to ignore danger signals so, I will be looking into all the info regarding the problem. Every time my wife looks at me she shakes her head. She says that if there are any more diseases out there I should stay away from them.
1530342 tn?1405016490 My News Years Resolution was to not put unfair expectations on myself.

1116728 tn?1276797124 No resolutions here, just taking it day by day. Last year was pretty crappy, as was the one before that. I hope this one makes up for it.
12773 tn?1328913186 Whoooo Hooooo I am officially clear of the nasty treaded virus. Bad news is that the diabetes is back and going strong. I will have to really do some changing again in diet. :( and lose some of this weight that I gained back. I must say I feel wonderful, knowing I am clear of the virus, hopefully forever.. Do I still need to get annual test PCR ? Hope everyone is doing well.. Just wanted to stop in and post my great news.
198419 tn?1360242356 Hi all, Surely many of you have no idea of who I am -- I use to be a very active co-community leader on this forum, and I had committed myself to help keep facts straight for those just like me, who at one point in their lives needed some serious information (once the old coup began to work again), and the only straight stuff was coming directly from patients themselves.
Avatar m tn misery loves company right ? lol so I say to you all my new years resolve is to find hope not fear ...so tell me ?... whats your newyears resolotion? to read post from people who can spell? if so maybe you shouldn't try reading or desifering my post.... do tell me what makes you happy and brings you hope for a new year and a new day.... sincerly yours.....
Avatar f tn Seems like my mom wants to try exercising and getting fit as one of her resolutions but I'm not even fully successful in incorporating exercise in my daily habits. She's now 50, still somewhat strong, she's a little chubby and is already used to lifting heavy pails of water when doing house chores. She's about 5'2 and probably weighs around 80-90 kgs. But she's still very much active in doing household chores.
672839 tn?1305792947 Not sure what you mean by a new way. Mostly for myself its been finishing recovery for my psychiatric disability and continuing to seek treatment for my physical disability and accepting what can't be changed from it and advocating for other people.
Avatar n tn That's fabulous news for all of us with diabetes or caring for folks with it. Competition brings out the best in folks. What a wonderful legacy they're creating!
