You seem to be otherwise healthy so a slight fatty liver can be easily cured. Are you obese? If you are obese then a program consisting of a nutritious low fat diet, exercise and weight reduction can be helpful.
Avatar f tn My reference to the study you presented was only in respect to the association between HCV and diabetes, not between inteferon and diabetes, therefore my use of the word "irony". Hopefully that was clear, but if not, I'll try and summarize what I said again. On one hand it appears that HCV increases the risk of diabetes (see study posted by Mike) but on the other hand it appears that the treatment for HCV (interferon) can also increase the risk.

Besides diabetes, other causes like vitamin deficiencies, alcohol consumption and certain medications can cause neuropathy. You may need to consult your primary care physician to detect the cause. Avatar n tn After surgery and major changes to his body including dental surgery and knee replacement his sugar levels would run dangerously high or low but eating right , drinking plenty water and getting exercise and plenty rest along with taking insulin as directed by the DOCTOR helped until glucose levels settle down..It can take some time, remember he had major surgery. Eat your veggies or start eating them and good News I believe my husband is going to survive Cancer.
