Since you didn't provide us any information to work with, you can start by making lifestyle changes. Too many people rely solely on medication to make themselves normal when basic lifestyle changes are ignored. Medication alone will not do the work for you, they are there to 'help' you.
My bf has had a wound on his leg since we returned from Costa Rica (about 7 weeks ago). It is painful and is somewhat large. He has been cleaning it, covering it but still isn't sure how he got it or what it is. We have had a Dr.look at it but he didn't seem worried. my dad is going to have diabetic eye surgery called a vitrectomy, and when i posted a question about it before i was given a great website. i have looked all over the internet and have not found one as good as that, so thank for that. i was wondering if there were any other websites i can look at to find success rates on the vitrectomy surgery, local anesthetics or sedation, or any websites on diabetic retinopathy or high blood pressure. thanks to anyone who can help and god bless.
I posted about this a few weeks back about Metformin and here is the whole article about it. It is very interesting that a diabetes drug has been found to combat cancer and HCV. There are probably many other drugs already approved that could also help different diseases if used "off label". Usually these things are found out by accident.

have a concern about a non-healing wound that my mother has. She is 75 yrs. old, very active, and in good health. Five months ago she cut her leg shaving and it has yet to heal. She never told me until 2 months after the cut because she was in a lot of pain. I took her right to the dr. and we were sent to a wound specialist. They did a culture and got her on antibiotics. She has been going there for treatment every week for 3 months and it's not healed.
