Avatar m tn Hi Charles, Here is some information on drinking and diabetes. If you know where mead falls in terms of alcohol content, this information should help you figure out what's safe, but the best guideline to remember is that men with diabetes should have no more than 2 drinks a day (that's considered moderate drinking) and you should always check your BG after drinking for about a day, to make sure you don't have a low blood glucose event. Enjoy! http://www.medhelp.

863754 tn?1239144755 First off... Hi everyone and thanks for making such a great site! My aunt's doctor gave her Budeprion SR 150 mg to help quit smoking. A friend of her's told her that you're not supposed to take it, if you take any medications for diabetes. She does take a pill (not sure which and didn't think to ask her) for her diabetes and I told her I'd try to find out if it could cause any problems.
Avatar n tn I have read everything on smoking and constipation on the web. From taking stool softners, to laxatives, to Vitamin C, to just waiting it out. I'm trying not to take anything because they say your digestive system goes back to "normal" in a few days to a few weeks. My question is what are you to do if you do not go for those weeks, at all? Everything I have read never discusses this problem. As of right now, I have quit smoking.

Avatar m tn I have liver cirrhosis and when I became ill, my doctor prescribed Marinol for weight gain. I had lost 85 lbs and gained 30 pounds with this treatment. My doctor discontinued the Marinol and my weight decreased. I am 6'2" tall and am considering smoking marijuana to achieve the weight gain I am comfortable with. Will this method injure my liver further or have no real effects to it?
