Avatar m tn Ok so here's the score. I have a schedule...its not a solid one but it is one none the less. I wake up between 7 and 7:30. Watch tv for a while and wake up. Then its onto undoing what the kids have done to the house which btw takes around an hour to an hour and a half. Lots of walking and bending over. Granted this isn't much exercise but it is exercise and its the same thing day after day so it is a regimen.
Avatar f tn s because im out of shape and have no exercise in my daily routines. But how can I do that when I have no energy? Any one else feel like this. Its starting to be so overwhelming.
5160872 tn?1385248794 I think some of the confusion may stem from you only asking "Does this ever go away" and you have been dx with diabetes. Your mentioned symptoms (pain, fatigue, excessive urination) are sx's of diabetes and at this stage your sx's could be from what you already know and or be further complicated if the work up for MS does turn into an additional dx.
Avatar m tn m lucky and like to exercise but watching what I eat is and has been my main problem. Again, thanks to all that responded and everyone elso in this group. It seems to be very supportive here.
Avatar n tn Hypoglycemia and diabetes are two different conditions. I will share with you my knowledge of both. Hypoglycemia occurs when a persons pancreas produces too much insulin and their blood sugar drops low enough to produce symptoms of a low blood sugar that may include shakiness, sweating or clammy feeling, or mental confusion. When this happens, glucose needs to be given to raise the blood sugar to a normal level.

996946 tn?1503249112 Thanks for the response, Sally...my Ha1c is 8. I've been on metformin but it still upsets my stomach so I'm not taking the full dose. I'm sure the fatigue and 4 lb. wt. gain can be linked to the glimiperide. Have you ever taken it?

Avatar f tn After the first one, I gained about 15 pounds (unable to lose with diet and exercise), have had increased bloating, constipation, headaches, stomache pain, pms, fatigue, dry, itchy skin, and irritability. I have been to several medical doctors and naturopaths, and been tested for hypothyroid, food allergies, celiac disease, and polycystic ovarian disease.
Avatar n tn Type 2 diabetes is generally preventable or at least delayable by healthy lifestyle - diet and exercise. And healthy diet and exercise has many benefits, including stress management. Start the exercise slowly, build the intensity gradually, and do exercise that you enjoy and can do consistently.. However, the nausea may be from other causes. Do bring it up to your doctor and see if they want to look into it further (they should).
Avatar n tn Let me try and answer your questions about exercise and diabetes. I am not aware of any connection between the onset of diabetes and over-exertion. Exercise helps people with diabetes keep their blood sugar in good control and within a normal range. Glucose is used while exercising, which would lower the blood sugar level, not raise it. If you are predisposed to developing type 1 diabetes, no amount of exercise will change this.
572651 tn?1530999357 Karpatkin stressed that PwMS don’t gain anything by working through the fatigue and we should never exercise to the point of fatigue; we must stop and let our bodies recover before pushing on. But we can’t give up, either. Dr. Karpatkin talked about foot drop and says it can be corrected. The problem is the muscles that work one way and the muscles for the other way other are not worked equally.
Avatar n tn His kidneys and blood pressure are under a lot of strain and he suffers from fatigue a lot. If you are able try to exercise and watch your diet very carefully. We are all in this together...hang in there GOD has your back. You would not have come this far if he didn't.....GOD BLESS!!......
1654177 tn?1319838494 I seem to keep my weight down too easily these days, I eat a lot, and I only mildly exercise (walking, hiking and pilates). Anyway, I told my doctor at Kaiser and she ran a random blood glucose test (non-fasting). My blood sugar was 68 ml/dl, the standard range is 70-140 ml/dl. She says to just eat less carbs and do more cardio exercise, and that this could be pre-diabetes. The part that concerns me is the numb feet.
Avatar m tn This would include losing any extra weight you carry, getting regular exercise and cutting out sugar and reducing your intake of carbs.
2005965 tn?1332667991 You should refrain from taking alcohol, as this will cause further injury to the liver. Treat diabetes if present and control obesity and high triglyceride levels. Adopt lifestyle changes like weight reduction, exercise etc. An ultrasound will confirm whether you have fatty liver or not. If you are doubtful about viral hepatitis it is suggested to consult your doctor for more queries and assistance. I hope it helps. Best wishes and kind regards!
Avatar f tn Post exercise nausea or Exercise induced nausea and fatigue is usually due to over exercising, or abruptly stopping exercise, or over hydration. Drinking too much water before, during or after exercise could also be the cause. Eat some salty snacks and see if it helps. Exercising on empty stomach which causes blood glucose to dip with exercise can also be the cause. One should exercise after 2 hours of a light meal. Wait for a day and see.
Avatar n tn E/A ration is 0.9. Trace mitral and pulmonic and mild tricuspid insufficiency. The pulmonic and tricuspid changes are new. I have an occasional murmur, only once very marked one day after exercise. I do 4 miles 4 times a week on the treadmill (in an hour). I have been doing this for 3 years without any increase in exercise tolerance or improvement of endurance. My Dad had IHSS.
Avatar n tn Swinging blood sugars typically make you feel terrible. And it's bad for you as well. Best way to avoid this is to eat very low carb, exercise, manage weight, and take medications as necessary. Please also get your thyroid checked. Thyroid conditions often go hand in hand with diabetes (co-morbidities) and can also make you feel terrible.
Avatar f tn Other possibilities are anemia, hypoglycemia, diabetes, hypothyroidism, hormonal disorders, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome(often manifests with widespread myalgia and arthralgia, cognitive difficulties, chronic mental and physical exhaustion.) I sincerely advise you to get your Hb, blood sugar and thyroid levels evaluated and discuss these possibilities with your doctor.Till that time, take a healthy nutritious diet consisting of green leafy vegetables and iron supplements for some days.
Avatar m tn Haven't started sof/sim tx yet. Curious if you think keeping up with regular exercise program will be too tough? With what I've read here and elsewhere about aches, pains, fatigue -- is there too little energy left to use it up rather thar daily chores, work, family, etc., until tx is over?

Avatar f tn Please help if you can, About 3 years ago I had a few fainting episodes. Had a scan, tilt test, everything was fine. Doctors said they can't explain it. Fast forward 3 years I noticed I stopped getting morning erections. Within 2 months found it hard to get erections at all ( even alone) . My parenter broke up with me. No morning erections at all now and really struggle with erections. They are no full and as soon as I finish it goes down within seconds.
