Avatar m tn A specialist injects dye into the arteries, which creates a map of your arteries and the aneurysm on xrays. CT can reveal blood flow in your brain and show aneurysm location. Sometimes a dye may be injected into a vein to highlight blood flow in your arteries and veins, CT angiogram and provide additional detail regarding appearance of brain aneurysm. MRI can create detailed images of your brain and show aneurysm’s location. Hope this helps. Take care.

Avatar f tn Lesion location can be actually pretty tricky to pin to specific symptoms. The brain isn't quite as well understood as that, not to mention that MRIs aren't perfect at imaging everything going on up there. Are in the process of an MS diagnostic workup? Hopefully your neurologist will be able to go over all this with you in detail.

Avatar f tn Muscle twitches, spasms, parathesias, fatigue - no muscle weakness and no balance issues are all rather non-specific symptoms or lack of symptoms. Meaning, those symptoms can be attributed to many different diagnosis'. Most of us here (I am undx'd) have been through many assorted tests to rule out the MS mimics. If you look at the "health pages" on the top right side of the screen, there is a lot of really good information there.
1174347 tn?1380569370 A lesion anywhere in the Central nervous System (brain, brainstem, spinal cord) can cause numbness. It is almost completely impossible to map our symptoms to our MRIs. I suggest you read one of the Health Pages which talks about how difficult it is to compare neurologic symptoms with the lesions seen or suspected on MRI. http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Multiple-Sclerosis/Lesions-vs-Symptoms/show/61?cid=36 Feel free to ask any more questions after you read it.
Avatar m tn t know whether this would help you, but there is an International Federation of Oto-rhino-laryngological Societies (IFOS) which has regional secretaries--the following page has the e-mail address of the Pakistani secretary for South and Western Asia. Perhaps you could write to this person, a Dr. Jalisi in Karachi, and ask for some advice on whom to see for your problem? http://www.ifosworld.

Avatar f tn The FDA says that it is safer to have DHA from a non fish source. I say the DHA is straight from the fish and not good to take! I would not take it or stop. I take the one Enfimil makes and it is I think $11 a month from Walmart and it is from a none fish source. I would tell your ob you wnat another one if you don't want that one!
